When you just watched 72 million of your fellow Americans vote to set fire to the Western world, it’s hard to focus 😂

WTF?!?!? Elon Musk in charge of “Government Efficiency????”

Now that he has so many government contracts with SpaceX and NSA spy satellites and how they communicate with each other, he should be able to ensure he has no competition when tendering for any future ones. He can just undercut the best ones by a dollar and award it to himself. The fact that he is involved with Putin and Xi should not alarm anybody.

In order to improve government efficiency Trump is going to create an extra branch of government, the Department of Government Efficiency. Then they with higher staff to help reduce the federal work force. Musk will then watch over the agencies that currently police his own companies.

With so many lies told to win the election it is only appropriate that they also establish a Ministry of Truth to promote its own version of Newspeak.

I think we should pour ourselves a glass of raw milk or fluoride free water and raise a toast to them.

Adding to the fun, Trump is refusing to sign the ethics pledge.

“Consequences are severe”: Trump’s lack of ethics pledge delays transition process

President-elect Donald Trump has blown past an Oct 1 deadline to submit a mandatory ethics pledge, potentially foreshadowing a chaotic handoff between the Biden administration and the second Trump term’s team.

The New York Times reports that Trump was required to submit the documents, which outline how the president will avoid conflicts of interest in office and lay out plans for other ethical concerns, more than a month ago. The lack of Trump’s adherence to the requirements under the Presidential Transition Act has left him locked out of meetings and briefings with the current administration and heads of government agencies.

We are entering a period of government-by-clique. And that clique operates more based on self- rather than national-interest.

I believe that two men prominent toward the end of Trump’s campaign will have a short shelf life.

You have to be loyal to Donald but he’s loyal to no one. Two of those he’s been keeping close (reference to a famous maxim) will probably be tossed aside in fairly short order. The first will likely be RFK, Jr., because he’s a loose cannon and, maybe worse, an environmental activist.

And then there’s Elon Musk because he’s an even bigger attention-seeker than Trump is, and Trump really hates to share the stage with anyone other than a foreign dictator.

Both, I suspect, fail to qualify as the kind of yes men The Donald likes to have around. I doubt if either one is beloved by Trump’s most trusted associates, either, like Stephen Miller and Boris Epshteyn.

If they do get cabinet appointments, they will probably last about as long as Trump’s first term cabinet heads did.

Matt Gaetz has three traits Trump likes: 1) he’s got legal problems that Trump can immunize him from; 2) because of 1), Trump can count on his absolute loyalty; 3) he’s into underage girls.

Actually, Matt is really lucky because if Jeffrey Epstein was still around he would probably have been the leading candidate.

If you want underage girls become a Muslim. Left will defend you by shutting down any criticism of raping girls cuz ya know…islamophobia

In order to qualify for a position under Trump, you need to prove that you’re unqualified.

Trump is planning on taking a major page out of the dictator’s playbook by purging the military of potentially problematic (“woke”) leaders. You know, the ones who might decided to decline to carry out an illegal order.

Lawyer says some Trump critics might want to take a long vacation (somewhere without an extradition treaty?) Some might want to consider becoming expats.

    That is an interesting query.

Which political direction is more apt to carry out an illegal order? Are there circumstances such
as promoting the favored ideology in which the otherwise unbendable will be corrupted?
