UnseenParticipantThere is plenty of hand sanitizer on the store shelves. At least until the public gets wind of it. Then it will be gone, too.
Find out about it here.

Reg the Fronkey FarmerModeratorI have seen zombies in the car parks and aisles of Tesco and Aldi supermarkets this afternoon so I think we should Take car. Go to mum’s. Kill Phil, grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How’s that for a slice of fried gold?

I am still surprised how much I enjoyed that flick. The trick with movies these days is to have low expectations.

DJI closed -2117.45 today. I think that’s the third time in a week of daily losses that the daily loss has been worse than -2000.

Reg the Fronkey FarmerModeratorEnd of April? That is over 6 weeks away. In Ireland they are closed from today until 29th March but pending a review.

PopeBeanieModeratorI’m wondering if kids will eventually pose the largest risk of spread, and if grandparents should avoid them. At least religiously avoid each other in elder care facilities.
OK, dark science fiction here, but also wondering: In the long run, could the human race benefit from highly controlled infection parties? BYO chicken pox, too? And county health officials could supply immunization kits and case workers for other lurking diseases at the same time. Protecting ourselves from jihadist carriers–an idea that even Trump et al could buy into. Give access to a magazine like Scientific American to document the whole process. Add it to home schooling curriculums. Give access to reality show producers who would love to provide balloons and trained clowns on staff.
Medicare for everyone. At least versions of it in progressive states. Potential here for germ warfare against Conservatives Without Healthy Progressive Agendas. Evangelicals, reduce or at least be aware of risk by association.
Call me Dark atm. Dark/Cynical/Comedic Progressive Old Man at Risk, even. Maybe Joker-like.

Jody LeeParticipantAs a nursing home administrator…this week has been hell preparing the what-ifs. We’re required to restrict all visitation to decrease the risk.
I’m in WV…One the only states in the US to not have a confirmed case as of yet. My son is out of school until at least April 10.

jakelafortParticipantJody, you must be feeling major league pressure.
I doubt you have not thought of this. But what if visitors were barred unless they wore hazmat suits or any other outfits that assure no viral transmission?
