    Agreed Robert.

The election is in large measure a reaction to the far left. In four years perhaps it will be the far right that swings the pendulum again. If our ersatz democracy survives Trump. Inshallah.

No doubt the GOP made hay with all of the lefty BS. Pronouns? So insignificant in the scheme of things. Identity politics betray liberal goals and are incorrect. Free speech at universities as long as you espouse the views of the lefties. Blatant antisemitism. Indoctrinated college kids orgasmic over terrorists. Defund the police? Yeah that will work well. Don’t allow the greatest cause of intolerance to be criticized. DEI may mean that worthy candidates, superior candidates are rejected in favor of well….DEI. And it is all like a F’g religion. Just like Communists who can’t bear any criticism and are cocksure of their stances.

In any event as long as it can be established that the onset of transexualism is biologically based we take out the free will BS and that diminishes societal condemnation of trans people.

If people chose to be trans, rather than being born that way – so what?  It’s a harmless thing in itself, and not like molesting children, the people who do that also being usually wired up that way for some reason.

The conservatives just don’t like new and different things.  It’s in the nature of conservatism.  They believe in preserving the existing order, and I can see the merit in that.  But a little compassionate flexibility wouldn’t go amiss.

It felt to me in the final few weeks that it was the Democrats to lose. I thought his “Eating the dogs” line in the debate would sink him but he might as well have shot somebody on 5th Ave for all the difference it made. Here is an interesting article on the topic.

    Another spin…..

Yes, but it went way beyond that. The invention of new custom and often unique pronouns that were to be used involuntarily. Even to the point of official laws being passed.

All the documented attacks and threats on biological women who expressed concern about woman’s safety in bathrooms. A male rapist in a skirt could easily be indistinguishable from a trans woman. Shameful.

We were told that trans women athletes were “brave” when competing against much weaker females. Right.

I don’t have a feel for the percentage of trans who were responsible for all these things. Maybe it is a small portion. Doesn’t matter. I don’t care how many “peaceful Muslims” there are when they stand around and watch some percentage wage terrorism all over the globe and say nothing against them.

Robert said“ All the documented attacks and threats on biological women who expressed concern about woman’s safety in bathrooms. A male rapist in a skirt could easily be indistinguishable from a trans woman. Shameful.”

No trans woman has assaulted a woman in a bathroom. This equates to the Hawaiians eating people’s  pets.

It seems extraordinary that anyone could imagine a man going through the gender conversion would do so to attack other women in bathrooms. Come on, if a man wants to assault a woman in a public restroom, he could quite happily do that as a man without any dress fuckery, and definitely without the medical regime, the bigotry and other negativity.

It’s like you all think we women get fooled by a skirt and cower terrified in case we get raped by a ‘disguised’ man. Raped. Seriously, in a fucking bathroom?

This is just another stupid Facebook meme and it disappoints me whenever it gets repeated.

Well, never say never, lol. It happens and will happen. These reports get a lot of fear press and there are feminists who object. Trans people didn’t invent the “TERF” acronym for nothing. Oh, and there are plenty of cross-dressing pervy males walking around, taking advantage of all this. Have you been to Miami lately? You would think 10% to 20% of the male population is trans. But they are not. And the Republicans just loved all this feminist versus trans drama. And now we have king Trump. My question is, what was the liberal strategy to just not give the nation to fascists?

I was a goth kid. It was my escape into my own world. I needed it to go on. Not many people liked goth kids back then, but I wasn’t up in everyone’s face about it. I didn’t care if I was accepted or not. The world was fine letting me be me. Get some disapproving looks? Sure, I did. I was too smart to get in a tangle.

That’s thing about these far-left identity groups. They just have to be up in everyone’s face. A lot like preachy christians.

Just be you, don’t force people to think what you think and that keeps the fascists down.

The middle one of those links states “Still, the assaults appear to have little to do with the attacker’s gender identity, according to documents filed with the family’s lawsuit. Teachers say he preferred and requested male pronouns, according to a report by a law firm that investigated the assault.”

I know that trans women are not really a rape problem. I am disappointed in the aggressive identity politics trans groups used in social media just when feminists were asserting that we live in a ‘rape culture’ and we were having the “me too” moment.

The far-left was asserting (white, lol) males represent a rape culture against women, unless they simply identify as trans, then they are suddenly oppressed even more than women and we must obey their custom pronouns and allow them into female exclusive spaces, on their word only.

Yeah, what could go wrong with middle of the road American christians at the voting booth?

My mother used to say of me that I “would argue with a bishop”. But yesterday I found myself in agreement with one!

I agree with most of the Christian values I was taught in the Episcopal Church. My main problem with Christianity is that there is no God. His existence is so un-evident that one must believe in him on faith alone.

If I meet someone who informs me of their preferred pronouns, I’m going to use those pronouns. It’s really easy.

My ex-wife had this exasperating attitude where she was convinced trans people are just playing games for self recognition and yet a massive danger in public restrooms.

The funny thing is, a trans woman is not safe in a male only restroom. Ridicule verbally or physically.  So they can’t really go in those.

There have always been trans women and they’ve always used the female toilets. All of a sudden, they can’t use the ladies and they can’t use the gents?  Where the fuck can they go for a damn pee?

Forget global warming, current wars, abortion bans  and starving populations. We’ll make those perverts pee in the gutter like the animals they are.  Ha! We win!!

I listed Douglas Murray’s book, The Madness of Crowds in a past Sunday School post. Here is a review of it that covers most of the above conversation. The whole book is worth reading.

President Trump said on Friday that he had terminated taxpayer-financed security protection for Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, the infectious disease specialist who led the nation through the coronavirus pandemic and received death threats after becoming a target of conservatives.

The move, which took effect on Thursday might, made Dr. Fauci the latest prominent former official to lose his security detail since Mr. Trump returned to the White House. It came after Dr. Fauci’s chief critic on Capitol Hill, Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, publicly called for Dr. Fauci’s security to be withdrawn. Mr. Trump agreed.

At Costco’s annual meeting on Thursday, 98 percent of shareholders rejected an anti-D.E.I. proposal, according to preliminary vote results. The vote came two days after President Trump released an executive order directing government agencies to investigate D.E.I. programs at publicly traded corporations.

Costco’s board chair, Tony James, defended the company’s D.E.I. program, saying, “A welcoming workforce has been integral to the company’s culture and values since its founding.”

This is what 4 of Trump’s agency picks think of the departments they would lead.
