The average American Jew is far safer than the average Israeli Jew. You danced around that fact. And not all that deftly to boot.
If Jews are not safe in Ivy League Academia in America, the most educated and intellectual in society, that says something very telling about how much safety there is among the hoi-polloi. That’s no…[Read more]

We’d be in a different position, but not better. Christianity and Islam would still be at holy war, even without the presence of Crusaders. Both of the…

Late edit: Has Israel even served its purpose? Which Jew is actually safer, one in Israel or one in the United States?

Reg,
What gets me is Josh Hawley has proposed that every American get a $600 rebate check from the Federal Government to offset the tariffs. What is that saying if not that the costs of tariffs are ultimately borne by the end-user consumer?
And since domestic businesses purchase foreign items for use…[Read more]

What we need is a state for every disliked or hated minority. Nor just one for Jews, but one each for Roma (gypsies), LGBTQ, liberals, conservatives, females, etc. In other words, a complete partitioning of the world. And who better to take on the assignment than Donald Trump?
Alternatively, we could work harder on getting along with…

How the “woke right” mirrors the tactics and mindset of the postmodern left with its disregard for objective truth. Both sides prioritize narrative and performative transgression over honest persuasion or reasoned debate.
If there’s one thing that’s as irrational and nonsensical as “Woke Right,” it has to be the “Ba…[Read more]

One big problem with both Mearsheimer and Putin is they have a concept of rationality that is totally unmoored by human nature or by evidence of either history or the present.
If Man is a Aristotlean “Rational Animal” who survives by exercising rationality, then if he is doing an act that ends up self-damaging, rationality requires that he…[Read more]

I’m starting to think that destruction of the economy is actually an unstated part of the Project 2025 planners. They clearly want to establish something resembling a feudalism with an all powerful lord at the top, lords bound to him by fealty, and helpless compliant commoners with little control over anything beyond their own househods. Letting…[Read more]

That as well, though I think what I proposed pretty much covers the same ground in different words. It’s not friendly to be constantly breaking rules and/or rewriting them unilaterally to one’s own advantage.
