If schools invest in very strong electromagnets just inside the entrance and turn them on once class starts, I think we will find that potential shooters will be forced to stick to their guns. I think this is an attractive idea but I am sure others will have views that are the polar opposite.
Quick aside: my son’s school went on lockdown just days after the Uvalde shootings. My son and the entire school was “escorted to their parents or bus,” past school hours. They were kept inside while police “investigated.”
I saw a video today of an ex marine proposing a very practical solution to the gun problem. I think we need men like him running this country. Not the dumbasses we currently have.
Were it not for the right to bare arms in the second amendment of the US Constitution we might miss out on Naked and Afraid. Damn prudes would censor or sense our concupiscence. So whether contestants have guns or firearms we see them in their birthday suits. It is all protected eternally and is credited to immutable god-given rights. Arms are beared and butts are bared while some are hairless and others have beards. Hirsute and hairless with arms that won’t scare us go naked and afraid we all dear us.
OK, a break from the guns. I will soon get to check out some Delta-10 THC. I am looking forward to it. Even though I am a long time pothead I will stop consuming for 21 days beforehand just to have a zero base line. (Day 6 today). I follow the rule “Start low and go slow” which everyone should do. Treat it like a wine tasting…..you don’t drink the entire bottle in 5 minutes.
@Belle Rose – The CNN video makes some good points that should be difficult to argue against. When fully trained and war hardened Marines have to adhere to stricter gun restrictions than untrained 18 year olds you have to ask “Is this really a developed country?” I have a friend here (in Dublin) who was in the Marines for 11 years. He thinks allowing that to continue is crazy. To paraphrase him, “And I am from Ala-fucking-bama man!”
