You can tell from their outfits that it is a completely heterosexual themed song. I am going to impress my girlfriend by playing it on a loop.
Be careful you “Macho, Macho Man”.

She said to me: “Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

January 11, 2025 at 7:19 am #55775I wonder if Trump is a wannabe redneck and/or cowboy, but I know for sure he’s a natural born prick when it comes to how he treats people and fantasizes how to MAGA his way to infamy.
Here’s one of the well grounded guys he should have kept around.

February 1, 2025 at 6:55 am #56040Is Thom Hartmann wrong? I keep thinking an oligarchy is in the making. It’s Trump U postdoc time.
February 2, 2025 at 7:18 am #560472-1/2 minutes, I think from 1996:
February 20, 2025 at 12:00 pm #56339Bernie’s been on top of presenting the right topics in this new Trumpian era:
Is Musk’s behavior obviously oligarchic?
February 20, 2025 at 4:49 pm #56342I decided sometime during Trump’s campaign that he couldn’t possibly not understand that his proposed tariff policy combined with his intended mass deportation of a large proportion of our farm workers would devastate the economy.
So, yeah, it’s intentional. Thom Hartmann is stating what was obvious to me.
February 20, 2025 at 6:35 pm #56343One of my best friend’s housing is suddenly at stake now, as he’s a veteran living in the Presidio in San Francisco.
I’m sure everyone’s seen Ezra Klein’s video by now about this administration’s strategy to hit all American’s hard, daily, with news about this or that disruption of government services and entitlement funding. What’s stuck in my head is Steve Bannon’s proud, sparkly-eyed, overt statement that outlines that strategy exactly.
As I’ve said too, things will get worse before even MAGA wakes up to what they’re losing, as an oligarchy grows its claws.
February 20, 2025 at 6:48 pm #56345I really thought that the Veterans would be spared from the cuts (as the new Secretary of Veterans Affairs Doug Collins claimed). But it seems like they won’t be. I am friendly with a few who are working or living in Ireland and they are not happy!
February 20, 2025 at 7:14 pm #56347Well, it’s time for everyone to write and tell their GOP legislators at every level plus their governors that Trump is making a widespread turn toward the Democrats a near certainty if he continues down the road he’s on, starting with the writer’s vote.
February 20, 2025 at 11:18 pm #56349PopeBeanie,
Bernie Sanders supported the Soviet Union that created Vladamir Putin and the Putineers, and Bernie still wants their saw-bones health care system for Americans.
And lest we forget, Elon Musk was embraced by the Left when the Eco Wackos thought that cars powered by Lead, acid, and Heavy Metal batteries but still charged by Carbon-burning electricity were somehow a more Earth-friendly alternative to cars powered by the Internal Combustion Engine.
For every pox that MAGA deserves, their opponents need to be Patient Zero!

February 21, 2025 at 1:56 am #56351Bernie Sanders supported the Soviet Union that created Vladamir Putin and the Putineers, and Bernie still wants their saw-bones health care system for Americans. Here’s an assessment I got from the Brave browser’s built-in AI (the italics):
As I expected, your characterization of Bernie’s views is brimming over with a bias that prevents you from fairly characterizing his views in anything like a balanced way.
Bernie Sanders praised several aspects of the USSR during his 1988 trip, including the quality of the Moscow subway system, which he noted was faster, cleaner, and more efficient than those in the U.S.
The Moscow subway system is world renowned and the praise is well-deserved.
He also highlighted the Soviet youth programs and workers’ programs, and mentioned that the USSR provided free health care and free education.
Far worse than what we do, which is to place higher education beyond the reach of many unless they want to become lifetime contributors to the student loan scam.
Sanders acknowledged that the Soviet Union was lagging behind in technological breakthroughs and plant investment, but he still found some strengths in their system that he thought the U.S. could learn from.
That doesn’t sound like a resounding declaration that their system was generally superior, only that some aspects, to his mind, were praiseworthy.
Additionally, he praised the Soviet Union’s cultural programs, which he felt went beyond what the U.S. did.
Even in Soviet times their orchestras and ballet schools, folk dance troupes and other artistic endeavors received more enthusiastic and generous government support than the American government offered the arts at home.
Finally, you know, when you visit a country in an official capacity (or even in an unofficial capacity while you are an official) you generally find things to praise not criticize.
February 21, 2025 at 4:00 am #56352Unseen,
My concern is not with being “balanced” but being right.
Ask the Brave AI how well AI would fare under Russia which wouldn’t have any high-tech if it wasn’t provided by the West, and when the economy didn’t and still doen’t produce enough power for humans let alone machines.
Ask the Brave AI how AI would fare in a society where the human inelligence that created AI is shackled by State-dogma and the greatest intellects in Genetics, Evolutionary Biology, Physics, as well as Humanities and Art are all shuffled on clean, fast, efficient trains to the gulag.
Unless it’s victim of GIGO, I’m sure the answers would be brighter than you and Bernie put together.

Well that’s one way to not relevantly address anything he presented in his video. You’re off on an anti-left character assassination mission or something, and I’m not interested in following that tangent.
Do you have any opinions on oligarchy as threat to us, or Trump’s support of Putin while blaming Ukraine?
