    Jake,

The line from Wordsworth, as well the line from Jethro Tull, were most recognizable. I studied English Romantic Poets years ago. Jethro Tull occasionally comes on local independent radio stations and I enjoy that when it happens.

The rest of that, though, was so disjointed. Laser-focus on one topic before you rant, those are so much better to read.

Leave incoherence in poetry to the professionals like Monty Python’s Flying Circus:

I have a feeling Trump would relate well to their version of “Ozymandias.” 🐜😁

    Fellow Unbelievers,

Woo comes in all stripes and flavors and here is yet another example:

These Democrats believe Kamala won the election – in an alternate universe

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/democrats-believe-kamala-won-election-093000693.html

But all might not be as it seems. According to a growing number of spiritually-inclined Democrat supporters, 4am on Nov 6 2024 is the moment the universe “split”, leaving us on an alternate timeline where Mr Trump is president.

In reality, they claim, Ms Harris was installed in the White House, and it is only a matter of time before we all collectively realise our mistake and jump back to the “correct” timeline.

Psephologists may cast doubt, but for thousands of self-described witches and mystics on TikTok, the evidence is incontrovertible.

Known as the 4am Club, the movement is founded by Gia Prism, a self- e styled psychic medium and healer, and has been described as the “Left’s QAnon”.

Videos of “4am clubbers” on social media have garnered hundreds of thousands of views, featuring mostly young women describing their uncannily similar experiences on election night.

They actually cite conjecture on Multiverses to back up their delusion:

Some have reached for a scientific rationale for their collective experience, arguing that the idea can be proved by a theory that all possible outcomes of quantum measurements are physically realised in different, independent universes. Therefore, it is rational to believe that in at least one, Ms Harris swept to victory.

Of course, even if they manage to jump to the “correct” timeline and Multiverse where Kammy gets to govern with “vibes” and “joy,”, that would just mean the Donald and MAGA/MAHA still wins in another Multiverse.

Oh, but don’t dare make fun of them. Words are literally violence to them and their predecessor sisters:

Some followers have even dismissed criticism of the movement as evidence of misogyny.

“Being mocked taps into old, ancient wounds: the burned witches, the institutionalised oracles, the silenced wise women,” said Ms Daring. “The ridicule isn’t just modern, it’s ancestral. But we are meant to hold the line, even when it shakes.

Never mind that the Enlightenment abolished witch persecution precisely because it regarded witchcraft as fake and laughable.

    Enco,

If i used a musician’s line it was like convergent evolution. Which line?

    Jake,

I was mistaken about the source of the musical line. It was Joe Cocker who had the album called Mad Dogs and Englishmen, drawn from the Nöel Coward song of the same name and the song “The Ballad of Mad Dogs and Englishmen” by Leon Russell.

    Mad Dog and Englishmen
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mad_Dogs_%26_Englishmen_(album)

Hence, it was converging all over the place, so much so, I misplaced it.

It’s easier to keep up when the convergence is all one place, like “In A Big Country” by Big Country or “Talk Talk” by Talk Talk.

    Fellow Unbelievers,

More on the 4 AM clubbers:

Most likely, what happened is they all received an e-mail blast from a Krunckt Kackling Kammie Fan Club mail server at exactly 4 AM and all of their Smart devices woke them up simultaneously.

A half-asleep Gia Prism then interprets this common phenomenon as the Universe “split” and rip in the Multiverse where Orange Man Trump wins and Krunkt Kackling Kammie looses and Gia tells all her equally half-asleep friends who equally got the e-mail blast. Insomnia meets Ideology meets Mental Paradolia meets Confirmation Bias.

The Israel/Hamas war is a field day for Islamists and far left. Spreading hatred of Israel/Jews by promoting lies and bs and having the centrist and lefty media especially in their pocket. The way issues are framed by CNN and MSNBC et al absolutely laughably dishonest. Just keep repeating lies. It ain’t too tough to get em swept off their collective feet.

So how’s the MAGA circle jerk going up in here ? 4AM club, wow. Pres’s DOJ is pardoning a convicted pedophile ring-leader for her silence, but you guys know how prioritize.

Always hear that “tough talk” from old white guys one stroke away from sucking on blue-state government boob. I gotta laugh when even the Q Shaman gives up on Trump, but hey we got the ten commandments in schools, Qatari AirForce One, no more windmills to see from the greens, real imported sugar coke and the Redskins are back. Good work fellas, fuck those Dems. Oh yeah, the extra trillions of national debt to support that horny billionaire class.

Not an encouraging list and that is only scratching the surface. But i will say however insignificant i like Mexican coke! And coke will be able to raise prices because sugar cane is more costly than high fructose yuck syrup. Lessons that might have made an indelible impression from seventh grade are jettisoned in favor of? Here is a response from my LLM about Muricans and their political power preferences.

Around 21-25% of Americans favor a system where the president has unilateral power, akin to a dictatorship. This percentage is relatively consistent across different polls. Here’s a breakdown {{IE_0}}¹{{/IE_0}} {{IE_1}}²{{/IE_1}} {{IE_2}}³{{/IE_2}}:
    – Support for Authoritarianism:
    – 21% of Americans think it would be a good thing if the next president could act on important policy issues without Congress or the courts’ approval.
    – 24% of Americans view the US as a dictatorship, with 35% of Democrats and 7% of Republicans holding this view.
    – 25% of Americans support authoritarian views, according to the Right-Wing Authoritarianism Scale (RWAS).
    – Demographic Variations:
    – Republicans: 26% favor unrestrained executive power, rising to 57% if Trump wins.
    – Democrats: 17% favor unrestrained executive power, rising to 39% if Biden wins.
    – Independents: 30% believe the US is a dictatorship.
    – Forms of Governance:
    – Authoritarian leader: 41% of Americans think having a strong leader who doesn’t need to bother with parliament or elections is a good system.
    – Theocracy: 34% of Americans support a system led by religious leaders.
    – Army rule: 33% of Americans support a system governed by the military.

These numbers indicate a significant minority of Americans are open to authoritarian or non-democratic systems, but most still reject political violence and value

    Robert,

Nobody’s circle-jerking over Trump here. As for me, there’s more to life than Orange Man.

And as of this moment, Trump hasn’t yet pardoned Ghislane Maxwell, just said that he could pardon her and that no one has approached him about it.

And look at it this way: Everything Trump has done on delaying revelation of the Epstein Files and any pardon he gives to Ghislaine Maxwell or Diddy just sets him more against both his base and anyone of good will concerned with the well-being of children. Both are hopping mad about his hemming and hawing.

Put some Espresso in your Sanka and don’t end up in the 4 AM Clubhouse.

A sidebar for you and Jake on Cane Sugar Coke vs. High-Fructose Corn Syrup Coke. It makes no difference for a diabetic. Ditto with Hippy-dippy, Artesian-Crafted, Local-Yokel Honey. Sugar is sugar and diabetics have to limit their intake until medical science makes a steel-plated or cloned pancreas and liver. The video here explains it all about the different forms of sweetness in less than 2 minutes:

High Fructose Corn Syrup vs. Cane Sugar: What’s the Difference?

There are plenty of names that disguise the sugar hidden in foods.

Another side bar on high fructose corn syrup vs cane sugar, is that the US makes an enormous amount of the high fructose stuff as a by product of all the corn they grow. However, it would appear that the US does not make cane sugar to any large extent, and would need to import the cane sugar from South America. This of course, will also be affected adversely by tariffs.

Meanwhile, the US manufacturers of corn syrup (which is grown in the US) will lose a giant share of the market and likely trigger some producers to slide into insolvency.

    Yeah, MAGA.

    Good points Strega.

I looked it up. Only 3 states are growing sugarcane. Florida, Louisiana and Texas. I knew Florida cuz i have seen it in market. Am kind of surprised it is even three states.

Ya really can’t calculate how F’d up the Trump administration is all of the harm it will do. Not only short-term issues but long-term how our nation will respond to the challenge. If there is another election there will of course be another pendulum swing. Will it be the far left that i despise or reasonable democrats that come to the fore?

Palestinianism of the far left will some day be the paradigm for critical thinking. Well probably not. But it ought to be.

I am not gonna rant at this juncture.
