    Regime change issue?

Citing prior instances is worthless if it lacks nuance in how the circumstances and external factors are alike and distinguishable.

If it is true that the great majority of Iranians including diaspora despise the government and recognize Islam is the problem then it can happen under the right conditions. The problem i have come to learn is the organic nature of the government. Its metaphorical dick is in everything.

The Kentucky Derby used to have a handicapping proviso regarding so called dosage index. It was a pedigree formula that incorporated prior success connected to pedigree and “no horse with a dosage index higher than x has ever won the derby.”

I remember thinking stupid. I would ask fellow handicappers so lets say you otherwise LOVE LOVE LOVE a contender for the Derby. Lets say has gone to lead in last two races at a mile and an eighth and final prep at a mile and three quarters and in spite of going away at those distances and withstanding the rigors of a fast pace and good works prior to Derby you won’t play because none of former Derby winners had such a high dosage index? Stupid stupid stupid.

You guessed. It stopped working. Dosage index was discredited. Now a bunch of cappers look at which traditional prep races have produced derby winners. And if a horse is exiting a prep race that has not shown success in producing Derby winners they won’t play it! Stupid stupid stupid.

The moral of the story is past performances should not be applied mechanically to arrive at probabilities.

When it comes to picking winners, I look to the trainer first, then the form of the jockey he chooses…then the stats of the horse in similar races. At the moment, Willie Mullins is free money.

When it comes to the salient factors in handicapping horse races there is zero question that trainer is the or among the most important factors.

I use a handicapping tool known as formulator that enables its users to do research into trainers. It is fairly comprehensive. You might want to know how the trainer does second starters/special weight to maiden claimers and turf to dirt. Or how a particular trainer performs with first time starters on the turf in special weight. Or whatever you think is relevant. Trainers have MO’s in the way they prep horse and develop horses.

I have learned from UK players that Cheltenham is the nuts. Huge pools and great racing. Live and learn.

I live in County Meath just outside the County Dublin border. I cannot drive more than a few miles without passing a stud farm, horse trainer or stables.  It is not uncommon to see a Prince from Saudi Arabia drive by!! In some villages it is “eat sleep and talk” horses all day long.

    🥁*BA!-DUM!-DUM!-SSSSS!*

The Alkaline Water kick is hilarious. The Kangen Water brand not only sells the bottled product, but also offers a home and commercial alkaline water machine if you can spare multiple thousands of dollars.

A Kangen Water enthusiast approached me upon seeing my diabetic foot in a boot. She explained how Kangen Water supposedly worked, then pointed out that the only place in town that sold Kangen Water was some out-of-the-way ancient local pharmacy and that no chain pharmacy sold it. My own store’s pharmacy didn’t sell anything like that, and my store sells supplements galore. I knew then that Kangen Water was really suspicious.

Also there was the little fact I remembered that Deoxyribonucleic Acid and it’s constituent Amino Acids are endemic to all living things. You don’t want to do without acid entirely.

Mupirocin has slowly healed one of my wounds and is working well on the other one and even though it did require the added expense of a Doctor’s prescription*, it was nowhere near the Kangen Water machine’s four figures in price and I have tubes of Mupirocin to spare.

    * American Council of Science and Health has pointed out that many domestic drugs are cheaper overseas precisely because those nations have no prescription laws. Even the U.S. gatekeepers favor selling hormonal contraceptives and Narcan over-the-counter. Doctors and pharmacists and drug companies still can and do give instructions on proper use even without prescription laws so it is something to consider.

What do Americans consider immoral? (turning left on red is not there).

This is very interesting.  “Marital infidelity” is way out in front by miles, with only 2% finding it morally acceptable.  That’s the only one that is on my list of evolved “moral domains” – sexual pair-bonding.  It would be interesting to see how other domains play out like patriarchy, parenting, family duty.

Also, 50% more men than women find it morally unacceptable to get divorced.  This perhaps demonstrates some truth in the feminist idea that marriage is a patriarchal prison.

It is predictable, though, that a regime change war ran by an indecisive, deranged, old goat can only end well purely by mistake.

The regime should have been the target all along to take out the nuclear weapons and international terrorism and the oppression of the Iranian people all at once, but Trump’s objectives and resolve are all over the map and all over the war room table.

    This horse won’t hunt.

    Yeah Enco,

Agreed. Regime change is THE GOAL. Islamic stay in power and the goal is same but with greater urgency.

I listened to Christiannnnnneeee Amanpooooooooooooooooooooooor discuss the Iran war. She was very careful to exclude Islam from her lexicon. She used words like military and ideological but not Islamic, theocracy or terrorist.

I see it as a clash of civilizations. Soundly defeating Islamic power is crucial imo to discrediting Islam and its Svengali vice grips over its victims. The so called nakba had nothing to do with the poor displace Palestinians construct. Instead, the actual disaster was losing to the fucking dhimmi assed Jews. If Allah is with ya why are you getting your ass kicked upside down? Same thing applies now. And we have to put a lid on the lid on speech. In fact open debate is the best medicine and access for all to the internet. Blitzkrieg of counter propaganda is in order. And goddamn i want to see the lies of these lefty shills exposed.

Now we see where SNL got the inspiration for this:

It’s Art Imitating Life Imitating Art Imitating Life across the Pond! 🇺🇸🤝🇬🇧

The only difference is that one is subsidized by Medicare/Medicaid and the other is subsidized by the NHS, all under the name of hospitals’ “Allopathic,” “Integrative,” or “Functional” Medicine Departments. Other that, no names were changed because no one is innocent.😁

It’s your goal and my goal, but Trump’s goal evidently doesn’t extend beyond his next Big Mac, his next Diet Coke, his next bowel movement in his diaper, his next Truth Social post, his next press meeting, and his next scheme.

MAGA’s only goal is twisting themselves into knots justifying Trump’s half-assery.

On the subject of the Mullahs, the podcasting “influencers” class, whether “America Firsters” or “Progressives,” are all competing to go beyond Christiane Amonpour and just mimic Al-Jazeera, Al-Arabiya, Russia Today, and Red China’s Daily Worker.

Even Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin are ham-handed (*ahem!* so to speak) in how they’ve handled this crisis. Candace Owens and Matt Walsh, not to mention Michael Knowles and Andrew Klavan, are proof that Ben Shapiro hires shittily!

And Mark Levin, while taking on Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes, still took sponsorship from the Heritage Foundation for months after Kevin Roberts took the side of Carlson and Fuentes!

It’s like everyone is a bunch of teen kids having a sleep-over of Reason and comparing monsters!
