Nevertheless being woke (assuming i am rightly attributing the following to woke as opposed to some other manifestation of progressivism) is implicity and explicitly racist. Predictably in its offensiveness it has given license to racism as a direct reaction against it. No way the Trump anti immigrant demagoguery rhetoric would have been greeted with reactions like a sleepy German crowd in Nazi Germany before woke gained ascendancy as an idea. Woke has caused a reaction in which it is ok again to be a loudmouth racist piece of shit. That is part of MAGA schtick.

Woke is racist not only in its inversion of the power structure so that innately Whites are bad and Blacks/Browns are good but also in its projection of being “White” onto Jews. All the shit in history that has been visited on Jews is ascribed to Jews. And identical to racism of yore mythology attached to the evil group does not have to be true. It just has to stick. Just keep repeating the mythology, the mindless cant, of the mindless group thinkers. And btw Mizrahi Jews or those from middle east are darker skinned unlike Ashkenazi and make up over half of the Jewish population. The zionists (translates to all Jews and all of the horirific connotations therein) are the White colonialist settler apartheid genociders. And not just the Jews of Israel but Jews everywhere. The collective Jew is demonized.

Whites particularly those in Murica are bad. Whites are oppressors. Darker skinned and Islamic Arabs are akin to Rousseau’s noble savage. The racism of wokeism creates White guilt that facilitates the acceptance and even adoration of the worst possible behavior. When the Black and Arab Muslims are innately the good guys the ideas causing their bad behavior, reprehensible behavior, are not examined. In fact it is racist to bring it up! Therefore throngs of people tainted with dangerous ideas have come to the west and are driven by bad ideas that are seeking to take over the world and in so doing make their bad ideas/bad behavior universal. Concomitantly you can’t even criticize those ideas without being labeled a racist. Brilliant!

Woke also has the soft bigotry of low expectations from the “noble savages.” No need to develop this idea. No matter the actual genocides, endless apartheid, colonialist settlers of the 7th century Islamic conquest from the Arabian peninsula so that their religion and language is spread far and wide. The nakba is the focus. The greater numbers of Jews throughout middle east and in every country who were 100 percent of time victims of apartheid and sporadic pogroms ethnically cleansed so that not 1 percent of the numbers exist in those countries as did in 1947. Does not count. Does not matter. The horrors of Arab/Islamic people? Irrelevant. Cultural relativism. What happens to cultural relativism when contemplating Jews? Oh so it is not so relative? In fact it is hyper judgy and the judge is a drunken moron. That is racist. It is all racist. And the effects of wokeism on a new generation of morons who are the most influential in America will continue throughout their lives to be bigots as to Jews. It is reprehensible. It does not end for Jews the endless racism. Finds different manifestations or forms of expression. Driven by the confluence of medieval Christian racism against Jews, Stalinist era propaganda that was adopted by the far left, Islamic racism against Jews and Nazi racism against Jews. I think Wokeism started off with good ideas as a progressive ideology.  It was well intentioned, as were the people that got onboard with it. It aspired to combat all forms of discrimination. But I think (just my opinion) that Jewish concerns have been sidelined because there is a “cultural zeitgeist” (my term) that views Jews as part of the privileged majority.  This sentiment has lingered in the halls of academia for so long that (again my opinion) I think only the Jewish community fully recognize it. Universities seem oblivious to antisemitism or fail to recognize Jews as a marginalized group. They think they and DEI programs have solved everything. Now they are on a mission that emphasizes oppressor-oppressed dynamics, and they are the ones who decide who the oppressed is. Seeing HAMAS as freedom fighters is pathetic, just as calling the IRA freedom fighters was. I spent over half my life listening to that deadly diatribe. This has totally marginalized Jewish experiences.

Universities (and society in general) must admit there is a problem concerning normalization of antisemitic attitudes in academic settings. Jewish students have reported experiences ranging from verbal abuse to physical threats. Symbols like swastikas have appeared on campus, and some students have faced hostility for expressing pro-Israel views.  Here is a statistic: A report by StandWithUs UK highlighted that 29% of surveyed students viewed the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel as “understandable resistance,” with this figure rising to 38% at elite Russell Group universities. This is disgraceful.

Yes, I recognize that not all progressive individuals or groups harbor antisemitic views. Many actively combat antisemitism and advocate for Jewish inclusion within social justice movements. I think the challenge lies in ensuring that critiques of Israeli policies do not devolve into antisemitic rhetoric and that Jewish voices are included in discussions about oppression and discrimination. The Woke need to wake up to this fact.

Now granted, other streaming services have movies about Lizards and Extraterrestrials and even conspiracies involving both, but none that I’ve seen have them as documentaries or hint that they may be true.

If you wrote about how most Jews are progressive, then you would actually be spot on. Hollywood progressive Jews in entertainment and New York progressive Jews in finance practically invented social causes, “progressiveness” and “wokeness”.

I don’t have the goods on origin of wokeism but I absolutely do not excuse the cognoscenti of far left progressivism/wokeism and generalized lefty BS of deliberate Jew hate aka racism. Not an accident nor an unintended consequence of their mythology. Embracing and promoting diversity, equity and inclusion if sincerely held as a tenet of a movement would cause the quotidian lefty racism against Jews to be opposed. In some places the racism is deriguer. Obviously things have gotten much worse for Jews everywhere since the Hamas invasion but it was bad even beforehand. Instead of speaking out and supporting the victims they double down on their mythology. I really do prefer honesty in racism. Be a Nazi if that is how you feel about Jews. It is probably an accident that the right of Jews to self determination in their ancient homeland is denied when no other group is subjected to scrutiny in right of self determination. If a progressive is openly supportive of Israel, tells the truth about the history and the current conflict, they’re gonna be shunned by progressives. It sure seems like Hollywood in the entertainment industry has more than its fair share of progressives. Not all of em though like Jack Black and another whose name escapes me. I doubt MOST jews are progressives. Liberals or classical liberals? Yeah, although the antisemitism that is produced by the progressives turned a great many to Trump. Anecdotal but my former partner in law business lives in southwest Florida across from the Gulf of America in a fairly affluent community and it has many Jews and everyone he met was a right winger. Not sure if it was as a reaction to progressivism.

Israel for sure had many progressives who were advocating for Palestinians in Gaza and West Bank. Some were slaughtered and tortured on October 7, betrayed by Palestinians who came to work there. From everything i have read Israel has quite naturally moved right just as Europe with its insane immigration policies has moved right. Sister just returned from Sweden, a country with obvious lefty roots. She heard the lowdown on the Muslims and how they do not want to work and are on the dole and have no intention of assimilating and how it is near Stockholm where the Muslim gangs make it unsafe for nonmuslims to be.

I’ve mentioned here how i had a term paper in immigration law and did original research in the Boston Public Library and was amazed how one Jewish group after another fought for civil rights for Blacks in the USA. So the classical liberal sentiments of Jews as a people? Damn skippy. Having suffered so much racism and discrimination in their pereginations what would one expect? It is no accident notwithstanding the need to endure one existential threat after another that Israel is the shining star of the middle east.

Islamism targets Jews and Israel. Its ultimate objective though is world domination and the stupid mofo progressives are doing their part in aiding that objective. Jews have been leading liberals in America for decades, of course. Afterall, the extreme right 1930-40s Christians were either gassing them with Zyklon B, turning them in to be gassed, or on this side of the pond, having Nazi rallies in Madison Square Garden.

Using the term “woke” is just a label to oversimplify pro-social behavior because, well Americans read at an average of 6th grade level. Jewish Americans played a significant and often pivotal role in the Civil Rights Movement, both as individuals and through organizations. They provided critical legal support, financial resources, and active participation in protests and demonstrations. Jewish leaders like Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel marched alongside Martin Luther King Jr., and many Jewish individuals risked their safety to participate in the Freedom Summer and other key events.

Jewish comedians are about as “woke” as it gets. Sarah Silverman, Jon Stewart, all the way back to Lenny Bruce.

But like Unseen always says, Israel was a Christian creation. Many Christain nations were happy enough to get rid of a bunch of Jews. They tried the same thing with American blacks when the American Colonization Society (ACS) founded Liberia and started relocation efforts.

I do have hope that when slimy gen z and boomers die off, they will take most of the racism and religious- inspired hatred with them.
