jakelafortParticipantEnco,
I stand by what i said regarding the utility of declaratory judgments. I could add to what i said but i will leave it as is.
The ideal scenario is to have SCOTUS lay down the law of the land. Declaratory judgment might be or could be part of chain of causation that lands us there.

This is what shows up when I click on Small Talk under the Forums heading.

StregaModerator@unseen clear your cache, or reboot. I’m getting there easily – I think you just need to clear your memory.

StregaModeratorOh that’s way too weird for me to sort out. We need to call in the big guns.

The first time you mentioned this, I checked and didn’t have the problem. This time, I signed in as a normal user, and I DO see the same problem.
I’ve also had two different, new problems that I thought were unrelated, but I was probably wrong. Our problems are probably caused by a bad update to WordPress. The problem that *I* was seeing was keeping me from contacting Reg, and Rebol who ran the update. So they don’t know about our problems, yet.
@Strega @RegTheFronkeyFarmer, can you reach @Rebol about this? (Hmm, in fact I’m not getting through to @Rebol, either. Maybe I don’t know what the exact spelling is, or it could be a user rights issue.)(Plus it must be bedtime over there right now.)

PopeBeanieModerator(It has to be Reg, Pope – he knows the byte-speak language)
Indeed. 🙂
BTW @RegTheFronkeyFarmer, the main problem I was having was that, in the list of Groups, there were blank spaces in several parts of the list where several groups should have appeared. Our elevated rights groups weren’t appearing, so I couldn’t reach you or Rebol via Groups.

By all means leave it as is, but AI is not a God and nothing it says should be believed without citations of primary sources.
(Duck.ai from my experience does cite at least one external source per search, so there is that, but nothing I couldn’t have found without it.)

You are correct on SCOTUS. Now if if only someone with standing brings a case that they accept and if only the Supremes were rational.

UnseenParticipantSo, it looks right if you have moderator privileges? Could be solved by resetting a toggle somewhere in the behind the scenes.

Perhaps, but I also have new, significant problems with the update… plus our ongoing inability to upload photos. The simplest, temporary workaround might be to just roll back the most recent WordPress update that was applied. AZ owner Rebol has final say, with help from Reg. It has priority.

UnseenParticipantSounds like it’s time to go back to the earlier version till they fix the latest one.
Note: In my email I got an AtheistZone notice of PopeBeanie’s post in Small Talk. I was able to read it but I wrote a response that simply failed to get posted. Another clue.
Until this is fixed, I’m a second class member. Does a mere visitor have greater privileges than I do?

I don’t think so. My test was made after signing in as a normal user, where I saw the same issue you saw.
BTW, I’m not saying this is for sure the cause of your post not posting, but every time that’s happened to me, I noticed that my login had just happened to have timed out, e.g. like an automatic 24-hour expiration. I’d call it a “missing feature”, letting that kind of time-out transpire while writing a post. Well ok, some would log it as a legit bug!

Reg the Fronkey FarmerModeratorI have not been involved with the website upgrades. I will try to sort out whatever issues are being experienced.

Reg the Fronkey FarmerModeratorIs everyone seeing the IP address under their name or just moderators? I think it is just anyone with elevated permissions….
