Why is Christian fascist Nick Fuentes not in jail?
To the Christian we say: Your freedom of religion is not under attack. Your homophobic beliefs and their place in your religion is actually under attack. And the vulgarity of your words and the barbarity of your actions smeared with your phony piety is also under attack. We will use our right to free speech to continue doing so.

LOL, Jesse Lee Peterson deserves an inverse Darwin award for managing to stay alive with his IQ.

Reg the Fronkey FarmerModeratorI almost did not post that video but did because I recently had a similar experience because I broke my own rule about not debating science with theists 🙂

Reg the Fronkey FarmerModeratorI can’t remember if I told this before here but I have a good beer story about Aron Ra if you want to hear it.

Nice! Lawrence Welk was a Saturday eve tradition for the adults and of course we kids hated it and watched American Bandstand and listened to Dr. Demento instead.

Reg the Fronkey FarmerModeratorApparently you can still listen to the good Doctor. The comments under the video are worth a read.

TheEncogitationerParticipantReg,
I must be missing something here about Nick Fuentes. He’s saying that he wants to get together first 1000 then 50,000 people (quite a ramp-up!) to mobilize and infiltrate the Federal Government in Washington, D.C. and make Donald Trump Dictator-For-Life, whether The Donald even wants to be that or not? How’s that gonna work?
And he’s basically talking about “Fight Club” here. Does he even know what The First Rule of “Fight Club” is?:
One thing’s for sure, of all the threats to watch out for, this prolly isn’t one.😁

Reg the Fronkey FarmerModeratorI am not sure myself how he will achieve his goals, unless he is just doing what he is doing to make money. I wonder what redeeming features he might have, if any. You can tell much about the caliber of a person by the company he keeps, just as you can from the words he strings together into sentences.

I used to belong to a forum for trans people (now defunct). The forum had a certain tolerance for what I will call soft trolls: people who aren’t being outright disrespectful or antagonistic, but you can tell they sought out the forum because they have a bit of an itch in their brain they needed scratched.
Commonly, they’d come in with comments like “I don’t have problem with these people transgendering, but why do they have to come here to [insert middle America location] to do it?” The more you talked to them, the more it became clear that they viewed the culture as theirs, and 2SLGBTQ+ people were foreigners. It didn’t occur to them that many queer people were already a part of the same communities from birth, or for a long period of time. It didn’t occur to them that the culture wasn’t white, Christian culture in the sense that they understood it—that it wasn’t their property.
The possessiveness over culture doesn’t necessarily mean these people are always evil or inhospitable, but there is this tendency to treat perceived outsiders as guests in their world who’d best mind their manners. And that’s a one-way street. While there is veritable homophobia in Christianity, there is also a lot of garden variety xenophobia that fuels all sorts of bigotry and biases that might other wise be lessened if they could stop viewing culture and community as their personal property, and as something static. We’d all be better off.
Ah, I guess this Sunday School entry is also related to the same issue:
The Manipulation of ‘Morality’: How Religion Co-Opts American Identity.

The source of the religion is clear and concise on male homosexuality. I do not understand how any gay man can walk around with that book tucked under their arm. Yet there are many who use that same book to defend gay rights. There is an all accepting Methodist church near here that is so proud of themselves for all the cherry-picking they do.
OT Leviticus 20:13
If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.
NT Romans 1:27
In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
