Yo, Lars. I’m glad to see other Scandinavians here. My impression is that we are too content with status quo. The fact that Norway even has a Christian Party that holds seats in Parliament is a blight upon our democracy.

I sure know what you’re talking about. I remember when our Norwegian department of education ALSO was the department of the state church. How indescribably fucked up is that? Now the church affairs have been shoved over to department of culture, which is intolerable too, but far less dangerous. I think it’s so odd, to be honest, that we are overwhelmingly non-religious and yet we just go along with this BS. Why do you think this is? Is it because we just slowly but surely faded away from religious belief and weren’t ostracized so that we felt the need to rally against religion?

I agree with the metal for weightlifting.

Yeah, @Matt gardening is hard work! It may all look like a walk in the park (haha, get it?) but it sure takes stamina. At least if you’re trimming trees and digging. Never tried dubstep with gardening. Any particular song you can reccommend for when I’m out there watering the beds?

I love MMORPGS, but I’ve never played Runescape, I’m afraid. Is it really good? I don’t have much time either, so if it doesn’t require too much time invested to keep up with the rest, maybe I should try it, or does it take a lot of effort to get to end game content?
I played WOW for many years, and played FFXIV a lot last year but took a pause after the typical guild drama got boring :p

I also play Animal Crossing New Leaf every day. It’s one of the few games that actively punishes you for not playing. I must have spent 1000 hours on that game and I still come across new conversations. It’s remarkable.

I grew up hearing things like “no offense, I’m all for equal rights ‘n stuff, but women who play football is just ugly.” or “Women’s football isn’t nearly as interesting or exciting as regular football.” “Regular footbal”.. Yeah.. I know…

But THIS year it all seems different. Now the “women’s world cup” is suddenly referred to simply as “the world cup”. I am loving this! Not that I care about it. I’m bi, and neither men nor women playing football look particularly interesting to me.

Let’s assume football players in action have sex appeal… One should think that most football supporters would be women. But the majority are men. I guess there would have been more female supporters were they shirtless. Hmm.. I’m sure the psyche of the football supporter has been scientifically delved into, but I know little more.

So I’m with Matt. Gimme a hand controller and a pixel dagger to stab things with.
