And why is it significant that the left favors censorship of criticism of Islam? Because a greater source of oppression one can go searching the cosmos and never get a sniff.

Just read this little article that exposes a little of the blatant hypocrisy and gives a partial explanation for the stupid kids.

Yeah, that read like I thought it would. Old-fashioned antisemitism, back again. The last bastion that could save us was always higher education. Stick a fork in it.

Enco, not only do Jews not rate for intersectional oppression but are singled out and victimized by the racist left. And in spite of a history that is overwhelmingly as oppressed people and yet they are the oppressors under the most trying dynamic.

The left doesn’t hate Jews. It hates oppression, genocide, and racism. In other words, it doesn’t hate Jews, it hates what Israel has become. Stop gaslighting that somehow opposing Israel is or is somehow based on a racial hatred for Jewish people. Modern Israel does not represent the overwhelmingly liberal values of the many Jewish people I’ve known in my life.

Now, all that is separate from my point: the establishment of Israel has turned out to be a monumental error. It would have been the same had we established the land delegated to Israel to be a Shia enclave in a primarily Sunni part of the world.

All radicals have one thing in common: the need for purity. More important even than winning is doing so while keeping their hands clean (without compromise). This is why radicals are not 100% in on free speech. For example, censoring hate speech is a radical idea that’s been mainstreamed.

So, Hamas is not all about oppression, genocide, and racism. Huh? And even worse not just against Jews but against all non-Muslims who are by definition, infidels. Jews are not throwing gays off of roof tops, destroying antiquity because it is not Islamic symbolism, cutting off people’s heads, stoning women, throwing acid in their faces and making them wear sheets, marrying 9 year-old girls, like their prophet, flying jetliners into buildings and fucking their unlucky livestock. Immigrating to democracies and then trying to bring their fucked-up Sharia to them. If you can’t comprehend the difference, so sorry.

So, Hamas is not all about oppression, genocide, and racism.

It’s obvious you’re avoiding my point with a very conveniently bad memory.

    As a reminder:

    11. The three million-plus Palestinians, who were forcefully dispersed from their homeland, since 1948, by the Israeli Occupation Forces, (IOF), would, instead, be living happily there today, in a free and independent state of Palestine. There would be no Apartheid Wall, or as a corollary, a Hamas organization. (emphasis mine)

A modicum of intellectual honesty to much to muster?

No. Here is what really happened in 1948.

On 29 November 1947, the United Nations General Assembly, voting 33 to 13 in favour with 10 abstentions, adopted Resolution 181 (II) (though not legally binding) recommending a partition with the Economic Union of Mandatory Palestine to follow the termination of the British Mandate. The plan was to partition Palestine into an “Independent Arab state alongside a Jewish States, and the Special International Regime for the City of Jerusalem”. Jerusalem was to encompass Bethlehem. Zionist leaders (including the Jewish Agency), accepted the plan, while Palestinian Arab leaders rejected it and all independent Muslim and Arab states voted against it. Almost immediately, sectarian violence erupted and spread, killing hundreds of Arabs, Jews and British over the ensuing months.

The UN resolution was the catalyst for a full scale civil war. For four months, under continuous Arab provocation and attack, the Yishuv was usually on the defensive while occasionally retaliating. Arab volunteers of the Arab Liberation Army entered Palestine to fight alongside the Palestinians, but the April–May offensive of Yishuv forces defeated the Arab forces and Arab Palestinian society collapsed. By the time the armistice was signed, some 700,000 Palestinians caught up in the turmoil fled or were driven from their homes.

The Palestinians refused a two-state solution many times, determined to wipe Israel from their ancestral homelands. The original plans had a bout a 50/50 split, before Arab nations invaded. Israel did give back most of the land it won in the wars including the entire Sinai Peninsula, however the western two-thirds of the Golan Heights has been occupied and administered by Israel since then.

    Fellow Unbelievers,

There are some happy notes in all of this:

The Pro-Hamas, Pro-Islamofascists punks in these protests neither have the discipline to do hunger strikes nor the good sense to carry bottled water, Clif™ Bars, trail mix, dried fruits, and beef jerky to their little tent cities:

    ⛺ 🎪 🏕️ 😁

They’d probably drop dead if they couldn’t cook something as simple as canned soup or raviolis!

And if you ever get accosted by one, all you have to do is brandish a banana like a .45 or maybe hold a pack of peanuts like a grenade:

    🍌 🥜 😁

At this rate, maybe we won’t have to call out the 101st Airborne to see that people can exercise their right to pursue education against throngs of wild-eyed, hate-consumed rabble:

Further down the line, I think you’ll see that the Gen Zers who don’t join in on this craziness will make great fortunes as carpenters, mechanics, plumbers, electricians, HVAC techs, and IT professionals…and a lot more work vans with Stars of David. Be nice to them on a hot Summer day, buy them a drink, and tip them well for jobs well done!

Everyone continues to run away from the obviously true contention of the t0p post by creating distractions with posts that are beside the point and belong elsewhere.

    It kinda proves my point.

    Unseen,

While speculation can be a fun exercise, on what more is there to speculate?

As Ogden Nash observed: “If ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’ were candies and nuts, we’d all have a Merry Christmas!”

And if there were no Israel, there may only be a Merry Christmas, though many fewer entertainers and merchants to make it “Merry and Bright.” Or there may only be a Ramadan, only a Chinese New Year, or only a May Day or Labor Day, or only a Kim Day…

And as another speculation put it: “If my Aunt had balls, she’d be my Uncle.” (Savor the flavor of that old chestnut while it’s still legal. 🌰🌰 😉)

A more fun speculation that is more within reach is how to make every nation, every seastead platform, every manmade atoll, and every wheel in space a Zion 2.0 for all.

    Unseen and Fellow Unbelievers,

As much as I support Israel’s right to exist and Israelis’ right to defend themselves against Isamofascist terrorism…

As much as I consider Israel’s opponents as pig-ignorant at best and morally inverted and bankrupt and bigoted at worst…

And as much as I favor cracking down on acts against Life, Liberty, and Property done by the Pro-Ialamofascists on campuses nationwide…

I do not, however, favor criminalizing mere peaceful expression of any viewpoint, such as has been proposed here:

House passes antisemitism bill with broad bipartisan support amid campus arrests
The Antisemitism Awareness Act would require the Education Department to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s definition of antisemitism.

Israel-haters and Jew-haters and apologists for Islamofascism have already done a good enough job of showing their asses and bringing out the logical refutation and righteous denunciation of thinking people all over. They do not need an opportunity to go underground, conceal themselves, and claim martyrdom, which is what censorship would give them.

Let them speak and let the rest of us speak back, and if they act violent towards Life, Liberty, and Property, let the rest of us act within the bounds of self-defense and due process and fight back.

    @ Enco

You continue to run away from the truth. The evidence I presented is real and logical, not speculative. If the creation of Israel has resulted in some countervailing benefits to the world, making the creation of Israel overall a benefit, I’m not preventing you from listing them, am I? List ’em:

Your antisemitism is really over the top.

You espouse every single rag and lie and pretend to be impartial. You don’t hate Jews?

And i know you are not that stupid but you are impersonating a mindless lefty ideologue. So what else can i conclude?

Why don’t we ask justification for the existence of Germany which is another Johny come lately state. “January 18, 1871
The German Empire was founded on January 18, 1871, in the aftermath of three successful wars by the North German state of Prussia. Within a seven-year period Denmark, the Habsburg monarchy, and France were vanquished in short, decisive conflicts.” After that as we all know Germany was involved in atrocities and world wars, imperialism, colonialism, slavery and is responsible for countless deaths. They got in a little practice run in genocide just like they got in a practice run for second world war in the Spanish civil war. “Germany’s relatively short-lived colonial venture is one more dark spots in the country’s history. Its massacre of the Herero people in German Southwest Africa, in today’s Namibia, in 1904 was the first genocide of the 20th century. When the Hereros rose up against the German colonizers, the colonial troops machine-gunned them, poisoned their wells and drove them into the desert and left them to die. Altogether more than 60,000 Hereros perished. It was not until 2004 that the German government acknowledged the massacre and offered an official apology.” No point belaboring what a horror show resulted from formation of state of Germany. They only wanted to take over the entire fucking world and had nearly the entire population of Germans on board sans Jews and other undesirables. Without the intense German nationalism that followed unification the world would have been a far better and safer place. There would not have been the impetus to develop those weapons of mass destrcution. Thanks Germany.

But wait is that fair? Once a state is created whether it is a net positive or negative do we ask whether we are better served without it? No of course not. Only for Israel. Only place in the world that is charged with HIGHER STANDARDS. Under the microscope all of the time. The world’s eyes always focused on tiny and insignificant Israel. Double standards and hypocrisy are so blatant that is mind blowing. Reaction of the lefty’s all over the world is so telling and revealing of antisemitism it just reaks.

    Your question is BS. Obviously!

Ok but i will play even though i vowed no respond to your antisemitism.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Israeli_inventions_and_discoveries

Of course you can’t have that many Jews in one place without science and innnovation. I note anecdotally when i read science articles that Israel pops up disproportionately. Their science and discoveries have benefitted humanity. And as long as they continue promise to be at the forefront of science and technology.

Israel is the one shining light of democracy in the middle east. People can be gay or trans, Arab or Christian, right or left. Israel is a home for the million (dhimmis) Jews who were thrown out of their native Arab nations. Israel offers a right of return so that when countries like Russia begin to persecute they have a place to go. Israel provides a good home for the Palestinians who were not disenfranchised during the nakba. It is better than anywhere else in the middle east. Without Israel the entire region would have been an Islamic shit hole. And the captain obvious that Israel afforded the victims and their descendants of the holocaust a home when the world was either itching for the extermination of Jews or indifferent. The holocaust was well known by 1942 all over the world. A greater justification for a nation one can scarcely conceive.

Israel gathers intelligence regarding Islamic terrorism/jihad that has been and continues to be valuable to the world. They will also assasinate dangerous terrorists. Islam is an issue for all of the west. It is not just Jews and Israel they want to ruin. Just like Germany they want to take over. Were it not for Israel we would be in a more precarious and vulnerable state with respect to Islam.

Also you can get a good lox and creem cheese bagel in Israel but not in the rest of the middle east. I don’t know that to be true but i am asserting it anyways.

You are right Jake. A higher standard for Israel than anyone. I have heard the argument that Hamas will just get replaced by something worse. Are Palestinians that pathetic? Hamas is the best they can do. They compare Israel to SA Apartheid. Sorry. This is not Mandella calling for a peaceful solution. These are suicide bombers.

Protesters are clueless because it’s all against Israel. As if Hamas is innocent to all of this violence. The campus was silent when Jihadists were running around murdering Jews. Not a peep. Or when Bashar al-Assad was killing thousands of Palestinians just a few years ago. Nada. Silence. However, when Isis Jihadists were running around murdering just like Hamas it was OK to kill them because it wasn’t Jews doing the killing.
