If the “Blues” are the ones who create the programs that redistribute wealth and the “Reds” are the beneficiaries more than the “Blues”, doesn’t that make the “Blues” dummies?

So, this is the sort of thing that goes on around the ICE facility in Portland. It’s very localized. Portland is not burning. It’s simply the sort of protest that has happened innumerable times in America’s history.
Now, there are circumstances when a governor might want to call in Federal help. One instance that comes to mind was the Rodney King riots in LA decades ago which were so widespread that they were clearly beyond city police to deal with.
Let’s not forget why there are protests at the ICE facility. It’s because ICE is essentially a secret police, wearing masks without badges or numbers to identify them if they cross any legal lines.
There is also what they are doing which is picking people off the streets who look Hispanic, speak with an accent or speak Spanish, who have tattoos, and in order to meet quotas. (If you want to guarantee abuse, institute a quota system.)
If anything justifies a protest, this does.
Protesting is protected by the First Amendment. This is established law. If people break the law, they can be charged. When and how to enforce the law is a decision law officers have to make as a judgment call, just as a prosecutor can decide whether or not to prosecute a crime.
This has always been a local judgment call and the idea that the Federal government can on its own to take over requires a very high bar to be met: an insurrection. Protests are not insurrections. If this is an insurrection, then will the next No Kings March be an insurrection if some bozos in the bunch break some windows or hit someone with a stone?
I post the following article to illustrate just how sick the jew hatred of the lefty religion has gotten. I don’t normally read National Review, but they were the ones to originally break the Jay Jones story that the other news outlets cited. National Review also is very good about veering away from dignifying the looney conspiratorial end of the Right.

JP’s site was wonky when I tried to learn about their subscription prices. I finally found a way to leave a comment about it, but when they tried to call me from Israel, I didn’t recognize the number and ignored it like spam. Second time I answered, a nice Jewish (I presume, by accent) lady said she’d email details to me, but I never got it. I expect I can’t afford it anyway. I should ask my Rabbi. Friend. I hope to chat again someday about the evolution of word meanings, e.g. a couple words being used (especially by politicians on the right) increasingly pejoratively, rather than decreasingly. Actually, “pejorative” is an understatement, it’s more like “hatefully divisive”. Just my shallow opinion.
