I must have dashed off my last response without reviewing it. It should read “He can’t undo THE EFFECTS OF Roe v. Wade by arguing it now belongs to the states.” (emphasis mine, of course)

I can find no statistics on how many/what percentage of gun deaths were bad guys killed by gun owners defending themselves or their homes/property. I suspect it’s miniscule in comparison by people—probably mostly children—killed in home gun accidents.

It’s looking to me like Trump’s “base” consists of a bunch of one-issue voters: immigration, guns, discomfort with people who can’t define what a woman is, inflation, foreign entanglements, abortion, general anti-liberalism, etc.
