@SimonPaynton @Steveinco For me spiritual simply means to feel a deep connection to say for example nature and/or to deeply admire something like for example science. @earthheart, “spiritual” is one of those terms that people use freely without defining what they mean by it. The two examples you have given seem like they are talking about experiences being emotional rather than spiritual. In which case the question would be “Can an atheist be emotional?”. To which the answer is obviously yes.
