RE the Alex O’Connor question…….what if he does murder the “potential” Christian an hour before his conversion therefore sending him to Hell for all eternity…..and then he (Alex) repents of his sins and becomes a Christian and then, one hour later, he also dies?
The non-believer sends a person to Hell, just as victim was about to become a…[Read more]

This scientist’s reply to a YEC (from Northern Ireland and who thinks the world is 6k years old) is a classic.

Someone once told me that they went there when it was raining quite heavily. I asked if people were rejoicing or starting to panic 🙂 To me it’s just an amusement park with only one ride…..and I have gotten years of amusement from it 🙂

Here is another post on the Christian cops at the Ark Encounter. I wonder if the K9’s showed up in pairs?I would so love it if a real flood hit that area and sank that stupid ark-shaped building and soaked all the stuffed dinosaurs.

Yesterday I played a gig at a fish camp, primarily a large restaurant/bar in the swamp with many customers arriving by airboat. The stage is adjacent to the water, and we could see several large gators stalking around the reeds. Somebody remarked “look, is that RFK Jr swimming between those two gators?
Fact is, you are not even safe in a canoe…[Read more]

Reg,
World of Woo: RFK Jr.’s refusal to ‘give advice’ on vaccines is dangerous advice.
As strange as this sounds, he’s actually making sense, since he is not a Doctor and what medical pronouncements he has given are absurd. (I’ll even add his pronouncements against food coloring, because somewhere, somebody is going to use something reall…[Read more]

Reg,
A shaggy dog story from Ken Ham, the man behind the plan for the lark with the ark in the park.
Was Ken Ham trying to train police dogs to be like “Son of Sam”‘s dog and detect the Antichrist? The story is evidently a paywalled revelation.
I’m sure Ken Ham wouldn’t want dogs to be like George Carlin’s dog who ignores the TV and does what…[Read more]

Robert,
If Social Security is so good, why do people have also private investments for their retirement? And do caring societies rip off future generations for the sake of the present?
And since you don’t understand what a Ponzi Scheme is, here is the definition. Clearly not all businesses meet that definition:
Ponzi…[Read more]

Social Security is the kind of thing a caring society that fends for its frail individuals will do. Perhaps you are happy to have people using walkers working in stockrooms. How ’bout trying just a little bit not to be a nation full of greedy assholes?
For that matter all profit businesses are Ponzi schemes as their present value depends on…[Read more]

Robert,
Progressive God FDR and his Brains Trust were the ones who designed Social Security as a Ponzi scheme, where those who benfited depended upon a stream of new workers entering the workforce and taxed to pay into the system. They never reckoned on many people aging beyond 65 or on people having fewer children in response to increased wages…[Read more]

High earners only pay Social Security on earnings up to a capped value and the rest of the income is not taxed for SS. Raising that cap alone could fix the coming shortfall. Instead, they will likely raise the retirement age and maybe even slash everyone’s check. When dear old grandmama has to move in with the family; smelling like Vick’s Vapor…[Read more]
