Sunday School 1 year, 3 months agoI don’t get it. If DOGE stands for Department Of Government Efficiency, what is the standard of efficiency they are using, because how does cutting staff at the IRS or Social Security Administration reduced telephone hold times or get one in to speak to an agent more quickly? How does cutting the number of aircraft controllers reduce aircraft…[Read more]

Sunday School 1 year, 3 months agoHave a great week!
Ā āThe principal goal of education in the schools should be creating men and women who are capable of doing new things, not simply repeating what other generations have done; men and women who are creative, inventive, and discoverers, who can be critical and verify, and not accept, everything they are offered.ā

It was just two grown men being goofy on a Friday afternoon. We were planning an Oscar winning comedy about how rumours start and things quickly get out of control. Ā The event is true Ā but it is unlikely that āThe Night of the Bumble Beeā will make it to the big screen.
My client is involved in the movie industry.

I’m not sure what you were getting at there. I think I was supposed to find it amusing, but I guess there are some bits of knowledge I’m lacking. Please explain.

If his Wisconsin rally is any indication, as a certain musician would say, “The times they are a-changin’.” Go, Bernie!
I don’t think Bernie Bros were ever much of a thing if they existed at all. In a country the size of the U.S., you can find a few people who believe just about anything.
By the same token, there may be a vocal cadre of…[Read more]

Sunday School 1 year, 3 months ago@Strega, I agree with you on ‘Fracture’. It has a clever plot with a decent twist to it.Ā He is one of those actors you are compelled to focus on, whatever his role in any specific scene is, even when he is silent.

Sunday School 1 year, 3 months agoThe U.S. is more vulnerable than Trump and his advisors seem to believe. He instituted tariffs supposedly to benefit American workers and the auto industry. Actually, settling on Venus in zeppelin-style airships is far less fraught with problems. Venus has a dense atmosphere which means that normal earthly air pressure would be sufficient to float air-filled balloons above the ridiculously hot surface of the planet.
