Whatever Kamala’s flaws, I can easily place more trust in her than a three-time adulterer, adjudicated rapist, and convicted tax cheat who is currently turning the United States into a Russian asset. Today, Trump announced that, far from increasing sanctions, he’s preparing to do tremendous “deals” with Putin.
Are you with Trump or Kamala…[Read more]

So, you’re saying that European Jews moved into Palestine and created Israel through individual economically fair and uncoerced land purchases at something like actual market value.
Got proof. And not a picture of just one receipt. One can’t tell from a receipt whether a transaction was done under duress.

Kamala Harris consistently warned about the potential consequences of a Donald Trump presidency. During her 2024 campaign, she emphasized the dangers she believed Trump posed to American democracy and governance.
In October 2024, Harris delivered a speech near the White House, at the same location where Trump had addressed supporters before the…[Read more]

Sunday School 1 year, 3 months ago@Enco –Â You might want to do your own spell-checking instead of farming it out. It would be a better loving example to people you want to teach Critical Thinking.
I did. Liar and lair are both considered correct by any spell checker. It was a typo on my behalf and it was in the Sunday School post. But thanks for the rather snide comment.

Which gender is the most unstable? That depends on who you ask. Men and women probably display their instability in different ways.

Knowledge 1 year, 3 months agoHere is a more detailed explanation of Bayes Theory. Don’t be put off by the Math as the concept is more important if you are new to it.
I guess I should allow for the word “belief” and not just “understanding” as I think we all know the I don’t mean religious belief, i.e. belief that is not open to revision.
Another example:

Knowledge 1 year, 3 months ago@ Unseen – The point you make about Columbus can be used as a basic example of Bayes Theory. If he had being given new objective information about the location then he could have updated his understanding of what he had discovered. It would have changed his reality. That is the essence of how Bayes works. It is not “shattering a belief”. It is d…[Read more]

Christopher Columbus did not actually discover America because he maintained until his death that he had reached some portion of Asia. Doubts were emerging but it was Amerigo Vespucci who fully realized that the Americas were truly something else, calling them a “new world.”
The point: You can only claim…[Read more]
