Sunday School 1 year, 2 months agoMany Muslim women still need permission from male relatives for the little things……. like marriage, travel (in some cases), choosing what to wear, gaining an education, speaking, singing, reading and even getting certain medical procedures done. But apart from that……

Sunday School 1 year, 2 months agoSimon,
Islam as to women is a great deal more than just beating women as a cultural/religious norm. It is gender mutilation. It is arranged marriages. It is tolerance of old men molesting/raping little girls. Marrying little girls. Denying education. Not giving opportunity to females beyond bearing children. Not treating mental illness that…[Read more]

All of those innovations from Israel are Sowell-ian trade-offs that are oh-so-well-played trade-UPs.
These innovations are continutions of The Green Revolution, which was a great step forward for humanity that saved over one billion lives in the 20th Century.
In justice, the Owl houses are where the Middle Agers got it right and today the…[Read more]

Punk soul brother. I read Rachel Carson, Silent Spring, when i was a kid. It was sort of THE ecology book. It may be dated now idk but one of the takeaways was how evolution is hastened and the impact of pesticides is to require stronger pesticides. Short life span. 1000 pests. 3 survive. Survivability passed on.
On a strong hunch that…[Read more]

Regular table salt often contains anti-caking agents (like sodium ferrocyanide or calcium silicate), which are synthetic additives. These could further disqualify a product from being labeled as “organic.” But even if unrefined sea salt is used, it can never be labeled 100% Organic…..salt is a mineral so can never be called an organic compo…

Where do you come down on organic food v non?
Refer back to my previous statements. If it is Carbon-based, as detected by Dr. “Bones” McCoy’s Tri-Corder, it is Organic, so everybody is automatically going Organic without even thinking about it.
