ysumlin i appreciate your sentiment. If you care then hatred is a kneejerk response. As a kid i had to come to terms with hatred for Germans. I lost a lot of family on my dad’s side in the holocaust and experienced antisemitism myself from German Americans. But now i wait to have a good reason to hate someone. I understand if you reject Black and White. As one of the articles indicated or maybe it was you-there are so many associations of goodness with white and badness with black.
If not Black and White-what then?-
Being human and our species or planet dwellers is all good with me if we need to use skin colors then this means Blackness no matter the shade.

Another anomaly in my area is the timing of ripeness of fruit. It has changed dramatically in the last 5 or 6 years.
Black Berries, raspberries and blue berries and even apples i noticed last year are on different ripeness schedules by a month to a month and a half. That is almost surely related to climate change. And maybe trees are too…

Reg, no logging here. The distribution of fallen trees seems pretty consistent throughout the woods irrespective of altitude or anything else (not much of that here unfortunately Western Ma and Ct) And lots of trees snap in the middle. And they seem perfectly healthy. I have no idea what is causing it.

I am in the woods hiking a great deal. In the last two years the number of trees that have fallen is increasing at an alarming rate-so much so that i am half listening for trees creaking or cracking as i go along..
