Pope Love XI got nothing on John XII who is one of my favs. No.6 on this list. Like many of our finest, he died at age 27 too.

I think I will just call him ‘Bob’. His friends call him that and it was also the name I baptized my neighbors goldfish with in the hour before it died.. He is all about Charity, which will be given in the form of pray and platitudes.

So does this mean Pope Leo XIV will treat the Laity as numbers?

I went for an end of term dinner in an Elementary School in the USA for some relations who were probably about ages 910  at the time. I don’t recall the menu but I will always remember the notice at the front entrance over the flowerbeds. It read “No firearms beyond this point”.
