I absolutely loved To Kill A Mockingbird it was amazing although I thought for sure (Spoiler alert!) that Tom Robinson would go free and they were sooo close to winning but then Tom runs off and well…?

But besides that I really loved it. It gets ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I just really wish Tom Robinson hadn’t run off like he did while waiting for the possible appeal.

I loved this book too! Normally I don’t like alternating first-person perspectives, but I thought it was done really well in this case. And as you said, such beautiful writing.

As I grew up I remember my father reading PGW with regular loud outbursts of laughter and seeing a long line of “orange” Penguin books by him on one of the bookshelves.

Having read all (and I do mean all) of the Jeeves and Wooster books he wrote, I was ecstatic when Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie played Jeeves and Wooster respectively in an adaptation series from the books.
