ParticipantI think we took the whole “Anybody can be President” a little too far lol…I mean I think honestly that when they wrote the Constitution, they honestly believed that the checks and balances of power would work, but they don’t work when everyone is so fucking brainwashed! The Founding Fathers didn’t account for utter stupidity.

Participant@Strega I was commenting that I disagree: I think it’s weird that so few women are involved at the decision making level of this.
No, women are at the FOREFRONT of the decision making level of this. We could have EASILY voted in Hilary Clinton and we wouldn’t be in this fiasco so it’s honestly the fact that people didn’t vote in November. Not the way they did when Obama was running. You didn’t see people lining up around the block and many women swayed to Trump. BIG mistake. I think women could easily take charge of this but how badly do we really want to? Not bad enough at least not collectively. We’re not angry enough yet but I think that will hopefully start to change if women who support Donald Trump would wake the fuck up and realize what an asshole he is.

Participant@Davis how did they correlate the legalization in abortion to the drop in crime 20 years later? Do you have a link to the study?

ParticipantI disagree Strega there’s many women fighting this battle, but the problem is that the only people with any authority on the issue ultimately is the Supreme Court. That is why Republicans are shriveling into a corner and allowing Trump to run whatever agenda he damn well pleases and they are standing by because all they care about is getting someone on the Supreme Court who will ban abortion. That is literally ALL they care about.

ParticipantThat’s my aside rant but I still believe it with all my heart. No one sees how Kim Jong Un and Bladimir Putin have PLAYED us. We are too stupid to see it…

Participant@Robert like I said from the beginning he know exactly what the fuck he’s doing and he’s dangerous and he is only just getting started. It’s too late. The damage has been done. There is no going back. Don’t kid yourself. That’s for real. Mark my words we are headed for WW3 it’s just a matter of time. Remember my prediction on that one because it is becoming more and more real. Most people are in denial about that but we are at the breaking point.

Participant@Robert voting habits and trends are actually more closely related to personality traits than anything else….

ParticipantI’ve become increasingly skeptical and in some ways almost angry and against a lot of the propaganda that’s thrown at women and I think it’s really done a lot of us a disservice, myself included.

Participant…and even more so not just shrug the whole thing off as women exaggerating or making it all up.
The problem is that there are also women who are against it. I shit you not I went to Planned Parenthood yesterday and there was an old woman in her 60’s standing outside BY HERSELF holding brochures to attempt to give women as they entered and exited the building. while she was standing on the sidewalk just off the premise to where she couldn’t get cited for trespassing or harassment, she was considered a “peaceful protester” and left alone by everyone and we all ignored her.
Women could have prevented Donald Trump from winning the White House, if more women in the flyover states weren’t part of the problem.

ParticipantAgreed, leave it up to the women
You can say that, but in reality it’s men making all the decisions.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. – Edmund Burke
I think men need to stay in the fight and not just shrug it off like well it’s a woman’s issue and it’s their problem because the MEN in the White House are the ones we ALL need to stand up to. It’s men’s rights that are being affected too. The right to sleep around carelessly and leave it up to the women to try to keep from getting pregnant or not. So I think men have honestly most of the responsibility in this. It may be OUR bodies, but it’s MALE ASSHOLES who are in the whitehouse and who are now going to be on the supreme court overturning our rights.

ParticipantI’m completely against partial birth abortions. I don’t know how I honestly feel about the rest of it. I’m against the idea of losing my right to have one, but I don’t think I would ever have one ever again.

ParticipantI wasn’t trying to be offensive, just forget it.

ParticipantOne or two more days delay even would have made a difference in outcome I think.

ParticipantI agree with ALL of you 100%. I mean really.
What are the odds that one of those 7 highly trained and skilled divers who have that level of expertise from the UK out of the 7.5 Billion people on this planet were within a close enough mile radius to be right around the corner (already in Thailand)….
If they hadn’t intervened immediately and took control of that operation we would absolutely not have had the same outcome and the unfortunate death of Saman Kunan proved that.
That to me is what was miraculous.
