Humanism 6 years agoI agree with their stated aims, but the way they do it can be so very tiresome, not to mention hilarious once they start arguing.
where the hell did you pull out this nonsense that people looking for social justice are all post-modern relativists? Did you just make that up or is it some assumption of yours?
Jordan Peterson.
you should be a lot…

Humanism 6 years agoSocial justice warriors one and only aim are: to bring the world more social justice. Which is not a particularly bad thing consider rights and treatment of women, black people and LGTBQ+ are barely barely tolerable. Yes its all portrayed well on television and cinema and most of the media, yes there are bubbles of high tollerance and black or gay…[Read more]

Humanism 6 years agoSo, what do YOU think? Do SJW’s act on a motivating principle that nothing makes a difference or not?
No, I don’t. They really act like they give a shit about a lot of things.

Humanism 6 years agoThoughts?
Very common of people to buy into the supernatural and then quibble over ridiculous details. Religion has conditioned the masses to this way of thinking. It is a challenge for me to have too many woo peddlers in my circle. They are exhausting.
Speaking of ghost stories, I do like them, here is my favorite from an unknown…[Read more]

Humanism 6 years agoWas telling a friend a story about the film “the ring” where in the climax it pretty much scares the shit out of anyone who was told ghost stories as a kid. I saw it with friends in the cinema and everyone yelled out loud at the climax. My friend (there aren’t so many ghost story telling culture in Spain). He thought it was ridiculous that anyone…[Read more]

Humanism 6 years agoSo many Irish Catholics were “offended” by this comedy show that it was first broadcast on British TV (Channel 4). Some (but very few) find almost every scene offensive. I love to hear them ranting about it. Some were even more offended the second time they watched it!! Here.

Humanism 6 years agoBear with me and you’ll know why I’m putting up a Katy Perry video.
After this performance, Katy was criticized for “cultural appropriation,” a very common postmodernist critique. There is another video which I won’t post wherein a young white man with dreadlocks was also accused of cultural…[Read more]

Humanism 6 years agoHere is another postmodern cartoon.

Ironically, about 15 years ago while visiting my brother in Ann Arbor, Michigan, we went to an art exhibition which was truly amazing. As we walked through the various rooms, we saw a number of paintings on canvases of various sizes and shapes, all of them painted white.
