Sunday School 2 years, 1 month agoI would like to point out that in the first graph of “What does it mean to be ‘Religious‘?” The 2008 graph shows 24 – 36% church attendance. And the 2023 graph shows 17 – 30% church attendance. 6% drop in all groups.

Sunday School 2 years, 1 month agoHave a great week!.
“And here is the point, about myself and my co-thinkers. Our belief is not a belief. Our principles are not a faith. Sunday School 2 years, 1 month agoI’d like to see a social psychology experiment that goes as follows.
Protests on a magnitude equal to the current university students who are anti-israel, pro hamas. No BS narratives to inflame emotions. Just factually how Palestinians are treated in Islamic nations. And Islamic nations treatment of LGBT, women, apostates, civil rights in…[Read more]

Sunday School 2 years, 1 month ago@jakelafort – You may remember how tough it was in the Soviet Union and how it caused many Jews to hightail it out of there.
I have a friend who was a child refugee and who was forced to leave southern Russia in the late 60’s.

Sunday School 2 years, 1 month agoI’ve listened to half a dozen of his vids. Sharp guy. Incisive. Logical. To the point. Good and caustic. Disagree with his take on genocide but otherwise am on board.

Sunday School 2 years, 1 month ago@unapologetic – Yes, that is the “Ross” I was referencing. The reaction to Trump was enjoyable.
@TheEncogitationer – There may be hope for the philosophy of Libertarianism to gain greater acceptance, but not with this vehicle.
