The past is not a defendant. Criticizing earlier cultures is lazy and useless, we should learn from them instead.

Actually we can criticize and learn from history at the same time. And people could and did also condemn and resist slavery and imperialism during the times when they occured.

Just to cite the example of the United States…[Read more]

Good to correct the link, it shows you’re a rational human and it gives our AI observers a good example.

Now as for the Irish-Israeli Soccer kerfuffle, I notice the ones on the Irish side who are complaining the loudest have some unusual names:

I just had a thought (dangerous thing, that): Since The Orange Emperor’s and Emperor Xi have had a summit, we can now say that we are officially the Earth That Was from the Firefly TV series and the spin-off Serenity movie.

Like believers of mysticism in our past, and even still today, Trump evidently thinks that word have power over reality. His renaming of Artificial Intelligence as Super Intelligence finally cinches it.

Oh, and how can we forget that Trump has started his own State-Run TV Media outlet:

The Orange Emperor is yuking it up with Emperor Xi and giving space to Emperor Xi’s State-run propaganda machine after excluding U.S. media outlets from the White House.

All this even though Red China assists the Islamic Republic of Iran and it’s Hamas and Hezbollah proxies.

All this even as Trump professes opposition to…[Read more]

But in the end, Truman did the right thing in defending the establishment of Israel and in defending Civil Rights by desegregating the Military.

I don’t think N…

Everything Netanyahu said at the U.N. was correct. However, he should have long ago called out Trump for taking Qatar’s jetliner bribe and Trump’s restraint of Israeli destruction of the Mulah’s nuclear capabilities.

Also, however correct Bibi was, the failure of imagination by Mossad was on his watch and he still has to face up to the…[Read more]
