I think there is this contention among people from 30s that music in the 30s and 40s was better. Also that all popular singers were either good or great singers whereas now you can be pretty and all about theatrics and not have any talent as a singer.

I suspect it is a good generalization. As to dancing i think the dancing now overall is better.

I am surprised that the broad usage of Jews is not a topic. Jews? It means cultural, ethnic and religious. It is used any which way or in any combination. Unseen it is purdy good.

It is soulful. But it doesn’t quite achieve the promise of its first few notes. But i know so little about music. Just my impression.

I don’t know much about music and have seemingly less interest than most. First i heard trap music. Trap backwards is part and that is how it seems to me.

Yeah nuns have a reputation of being sadistic and cruel. I’ve read many accounts of the torture and murder inflicted by nuns on kids in those homes. Heard many anecdotes. I have never been a patient but i have spent more time in hospitals and nursing homes than i would have liked. And crosses in patient rooms make me feel a little awful.
