I have never heard anyone else compare English and Sanskrit but from what I know, you are correct. Many UrduGaelicHindi words also have the same Proto-Indo-European roots.

Take the word for the number ‘2’.

He did a great job. I knew a fair amount of the history, but didn’t know the Vikings also shared the slave trade with Muslims. That would explain the Turkish coins found among Viking artifacts.
