Sunday School 1 year, 6 months ago@Strega – Too many people are afraid to live on their own for even a short period of time. I highly recommend it.
Maybe just don’t start writing a novel about what can happen to Jack when he spends too much time at work and not enough time playing. 🙂

Sunday School 1 year, 6 months agoFor those with terminal illnesses, assisted dying is a powerful quality of life option. For most, just knowing that they have the legal option in place in case they want or need to avail of it at some future point, immediately improves their quality of life. It also allows their love ones, who would assist them, the peace of mind knowing they…[Read more]

How a young Dutch woman’s life began when she was allowed to die.I don’t think that assisted dying on the grounds of depression should be legal, because depression is always in theory reversible. On the other hand, it took being genuinely offered to die for this lady to want to live again. It’s a difficult one.

Sunday School 1 year, 6 months agoWhen i was a kid and the topic of original sin was in play i was just amazed anyone would buy into that nonsense. Even JP with his ridiculous casuistry would not stoop so low.
But i wonder if an extension of that thinking is not in play in the Christian mantra, ‘Who Killed Christ? The Jews killed Christ!’ And today all of those putative sins of…[Read more]

It has evolved so insanely fast. I am gobsmacked. First off as i indicated in a prior missive…[Read more]
