I am on the case Unseen. I won’t let anyone forget 🙂

Sunday School 2 years, 3 months agoI will be placing old jeans and shirts in the local park to show that everyone meets their God naked.
I am sure the sex dolls will find the rapture an uplifting experience and the Christians will reach the Pearls Gates, not just naked, but many of them will have a high pitch squeaky helium voice too. Please St. Peter, I thought the dolls were angels!

Sunday School 2 years, 3 months agoThanks, Reg!
We are thinking about joining a group that plans to inflate sex dolls with helium and send them up during the eclipse so that everyone thinks the rapture has begun and that they were being left behind.

What is the Comstock Act mentioned in SCOTUS abortion pill case?
I first heard of The Comstock Act all of 42 years ago from a book called Freedom, Feminism, and The State edited by Wendy McElroy and published by The Cato institute–you know, those “relentless” Libertarians that some people can’t stand. 😁
Ever since and up to now, both The…[Read more]

Much obliged on the input on measures for health. I guess any attempt at measuring is better than none. Still, I have to wonder when it jumps all over the place. Maybe the scale is defective or on low batteries. Must check and see.

Sunday School 2 years, 3 months agoSimon. The word you’re looking for is Rare.
Rare. Rarer. Rarest.You can’t have uniquer or uniquest, right?. That’s because the ‘uni’ part of the word is singular. One.
Unicorn=one horn. Unicycle=one wheel.
Unique=one thing. One.

Sunday School 2 years, 3 months agoI disagree, I think that something can be more or less unique…
When I was about 14, a ‘religious indoctrination’ teacher told me that I was almost unique because I was constantly challenging everything he was saying.
I replied by saying something or someone cannot be ‘almost unique’. Unique implies being one of a kind……like Jesus sir. The…[Read more]

All organisms are unique. You can also point out various organisms with characteristics that are either accentuated beyond other species or unique to that species. But that never happened.
The point is a religious notion namely special creation has infiltrated the greater culture. It was pathetic that happened in a public school. (Take…[Read more]

Sunday School 2 years, 3 months agoJake,
There is no contradiction in saying that humans are product of billions of years of Evolution and that humans are unique. Where the teacher got it wrong was assuming that we humans are “chosen” and “created” by a Supernatural Being to be unique.
Steve Job had the right idea. Humans are unique because we innovate our way out of our…[Read more]
