I had a similar ‘tug-of-war’ with an election official once. I asked him “Why is the Bible on display on all the tables in the polling booth”. He gave me some bs about it being official policy based on the Constitution and demanded it back.
I then told him it was only half a bible because it was only ‘ The NT’ but was still 100% illegal. I held…[Read more]

News about the lark with the Ark in the park is always a source of happiness for me. I still think about this headline every so often:
Kentucky Noah’s Ark sues insurance company over damage caused by heavy rains.

Sunday School 1 month, 2 weeks agoYet even if you put together all the hardcore Islamist loons and their allies on the braindead European Left, these people still amount to a small minority. How then have they become so seemingly powerful and threatening?
That is from the article I linked above. I recently drove past the US Embassy in Dublin while there was a ‘Pro-Palestine’…[Read more]

Sunday School 1 month, 2 weeks agoI read about that jet today. I thought it was a joke. I think that the Deputy Editor of Jewish News Daniel Sugarman summed it up nicely…

Religion is our oldest large-scale example of hallucinating a ātheological Polyfillaā into the gaps of our knowledge. As investigation expands, the gaps contract and less filler is required. Yet believers often treat the retreat as evidence of refinement rat…[Read more]

Sunday School 1 month, 3 weeks agoNo, he was told to remove the wording. I had told him prior to event that he most likely would be asked to remove or change the wording. It made specific health claims. It would have be acceptable if he had worded a “may help…”. He was not bothered by it as he ran several successful companies selling unrelated products across different sectors.…[Read more]

Sunday School 1 month, 3 weeks agoI know someone who was importing herbal teas from China. He was advertising it with various health claims on the box and selling it for a serious markup. He made a 7 figure profit in the first 9 months. He got a “cease and desist” type of letter from the Advertising Authority to tell me to remove all the unsubstantiatedĀ health wording. Sunday School 1 month, 3 weeks agoI had heard of ‘wooly buggers’ before, up near Helen, in northern GA. Is it a Southern term? I often walk along the banks of the Chattahoochee and see fishermen there too. Never heard the term in Ireland in relation to fly-fishing for trout. Not my scene but big with some locals and tourists.
Anyway….I hope Loomer gets herself further…[Read more]
