Sunday School 2 years, 9 months agoWhen you adjust for this fact, then number of children killed by firearms in 2020 drops from 4357 to 2270…….
Phew! what a relief to know this. Only one child on average killed by a bullet ever 4 hours instead of every 2 hours, even adjusting for the leap year.

Sunday School 2 years, 9 months agoAnd this represents a big part of the reason why. Islamophobia is a thing. In Canada, we have people who ascribe to irrational fears that Muslims are taking over and that we’ll be a Sharia state any day now despite coherent evidence to support the claim. We have violence and hate targeting places of worship in some cases indiscriminately. We h…[Read more]

Yes, I did notice the silence. I am waiting to hear that the “Indian moon landing was faked”. Should be soon I reckon.

Sunday School 2 years, 9 months agoEnco i am reminded of Stuckey’s. I wonder if they’re still in business.
I will double check but I think they are. I have heard the name more than once when in GA. I will be visiting my nieces who are students in Georgia Tech during Thanksgiving week. I think they have a HQ and a store nearby. Nearby is close enough to go hunting for pecan pie.

If we take this news article as have being fact-checked then Prigozhin has been confirmed dead. I was waiting for him to be killed by Putin. There is no way that it would not happen and Putin did it without making him a martyr. I doubt if we will see photos of his ugly corpse. Nothing to see here. Move along now.

I can be very romantic. I took my current GF out last week for a fancy meal and even let her put ketchup on the fries.
As for the glittery trinkets I will have to wait for the current batch of brass crucifixes to melt before they can be recycled into little 666 lapel badges.

I once bought a GF a designer Cartier watch with diamonds around the edge. I met her recently at an event and she was wearing it. She said she replaces the battery every few years and that it is generally no more than a few seconds out. Best $10 I ever spent.

Sunday School 2 years, 10 months agoNow, if Catholic Priests and Nuns in Ireland kept you from knowledge of Barbie and other great toys for kids, then they would be the ones to confront with outrage.
The last time Catholic priests and nuns in Ireland saw a Barbie or Ken was in a police station when they were being asked to point out “where did you touch the child”?
