The non-metaphorical CTs are necessary for screening for disorders, as non-metaphoical CT shields are necessary to prevent related harm. My Rx is perhaps a different metaphor is needed.

Re the Sunscreen tip….yes, that is good advice. I put a layer of it on at the weekend as summer in Ireland was on a Saturday this year….40F at the moment

I tested 20/20 correct out of 20 headlines on the Misinformation Susceptibility Test..but probably because I’m a good tester who could identify baloney and was sufficiently media saavy. I also think I could sense the direction of the test’s drift.
