Watched Heretic. Thumbs up.
Can be watched on Max, Prime, Applejacks at a minimum.
The how to change minds article is ok. Makes sense intuitively. But i doubt it will do much good when engaging an Ultra Orthodox Jew, Gazan ‘educated’ in an UNWRA school, Hardcore Trump cultist etc.
In other news it aint news if it aint Jews. I don’t drink Jews…[Read more]

Rashers: Sliced bacon, typically from the back or side of the pig, common in Ireland and the UK. Leaner than American streaky bacon.
Streaky bacon: Comes from pork belly, very fatty, common in the U.S.
Both are processed meats that are salted, cured, and often smoked. The WHO classifies processed meat (like bacon, ham, sausages) as a Group 1…[Read more]

I eat PB&J’s on a regular basis. I consider them a treat with a cup (or mug!) of spiced tea, (Masala Chai). At least 3 times a week. It is a balanced meal. My preference is for smooth PB.

Politics 1 year, 3 months agoThe concept of “government free” free market is so cute. The drive for any company is always to monopolize, crush start-ups, control pricing and optimize profit over any and all social, environmental, or human welfare concerns. As an engineering manager with a 20 million annual budget working on a 250-million-dollar project; I was high enough to…[Read more]

Politics 1 year, 3 months agoWondering if all of this slashing of services and tariff waring will actually result in tax cuts for what is left of the middle class. I doubt it will be more than a token break. It is the upper middle working class that carries the burden. People such as doctors, lawyers, engineers, accountants who get a W2 and honest small business owners as…[Read more]

Politics 1 year, 3 months agoEnco, I promise I was only reviewing this thread, starting with its first post back in December, and my purpose was not to find examples of the kind of stuff that you write. But the following comment spurred me to point out that Jason Stanley is not the only pontificator conflating “Fascism” with policies they criticize:

The 19-1/2 minute video is about Fascism taking down or converting universities into instruments of the state. Side note, “they” now want NPR and PBS to be next on the chopping block.
