As for celebrating “firsts”, the very fact that something is a “first” is indicative that there is a problem in a particular field, so there’s nothing wrong in celebrating a long-overdue start of change.

This image was taken by the Juno mission which still has a couple months to go of observation. It will eventually fall into the Jupiter atmosphere. Because it is a mind boggling enormous planet the atmosphere is heavy and the pressure grows exponentially as you head towards the planets core.
