The word “different” is key to IP claims, and yet it doesn’t mean much at all without some definitional narrowing of the meaning for a particular purpose.

You are the only Christian I have heard ever say that. All the others tell me that the Cross is a representation of the death and, more importantly to them, the resurrection of Christ.

The concept of transformation or enlightenment through suffering and sacrifice is symbolized in the cruciform pose. This is most famously represented in Christian mythology with the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.  So yes, “the Cross is the representation of The trinity” in your version of your religion.
