Johan and King Iyk – do you both believe in the same God? @King Iyk, are you also an immortal like Johan?

Johan, do you really believe you will exist in 473,000,016 years time?

Yes, Johan, the Bible is true because it is the inspired word of god and god would not lie because he is god so the Bible is true.

Ever try reasoning with them?
Yes. But it is always a futile task because no one has ever reasoned themselves into the beliefs they hold. No theist ever sat down and decided to look at all the worldâs religions and chose the one with the best evidence for it. This is because there is no evidence for any of them. Only subjective arguments. Â …[Read more]

Recently I have been considering religion from a cultural viewpoint. Most people start life with the same cognitive machinery in their skulls. But the development of inherited intelligence and critical thinking skills are dependent on how âthe villageâ views the importance of education. In the societies with the highest level of personal fre…[Read more]

It is fun to ask a Muslim if their ancestors were Jews, Pagans or Christians. Their heads explode (no pun).
….and in the decimal system, no pun in ten did.

3.) The Word: Proves The Bible to be The Word of God…..
such circular reasoning merits a zero, which happens to better represent god.

Christians can thank the Indian Hindu mathematician Brahmagupta, who formalized the use of zero as a number and developed the decimal positional system. It later spread to the Islamic world through translations of Indian mathematical texts. Scholars like Al-Khwarizmi and Al-Kindi played crucial roles in popularizing it. By the 12th century, the…[Read more]

This âproofâ is terrible. In fact, it is not proof of anything. At best you could call it an argument.
The concept of a “Trinity of Numbers” is arbitrarily invented and has no basis in theology, mathematics, or logic. Numbers like “111” or “333” are simply repeating digits and do not inherently carry any theological meaning.
Equating the the…[Read more]

Johan, nobody here as any ‘daddy issues’. Not even late of Friday nights. Maybe the more than 13,ooo children under 5 years old that die each day would have if any of it was real. Die antwoord might be Jesus for you but it makes no sense telling us here. We don’t believe in any god.

Sunday School 1 year, 4 months agoI often say this phrase to myself: “Reg, never argue with an idiot. The best result would be you being able to say that you bested an idiot in an argument”.
I think I will try using “Shut up and Sit Down” when uneducated theists and closed minded people interrupt my spiels and see what happens đ

(NOTE: The question I’m raising is raised at the very end. Please read the case I’m making first.)
The movie Annihilation is a masterpiece in the literary genre that’s come to be called “cosmic horror.”
Cosmic horror is a subgenre of horror fiction that emphasizes existential dread and the horror of the unknowable and incomprehensible. It often…[Read more]

In blues music, there’s a long tradition of borrowing melodic and lyrical phrases, and in music generally, there are only so many ways to create a musical phrase. I think it’s becoming harder and harder to “own” one’s own music anymore. A performance/recording, yes, but to into a court and claim that a melody is original and never been strung…[Read more]

The word “different” is key to IP claims, and yet it doesn’t mean much at all without some definitional narrowing of the meaning for a particular purpose.
For example, even two guitars made by Fender, identical part numbers from their catalog, are different if only because they don’t occupy the same space. This one’s here, that one’s over there.
