Right now, a two-state solution is still the formula most of the world endorses but the chances of either side accepting it are slim. Netanyahu and right-wing coalition partners oppose a sovereign Palestinian state, citing security concerns and biblical/historic claims. Many ministers advocate permanent control over much of the West Bank. Most…[Read more]

Sunday School 9 months, 1 week agoErika Kirk did the Christian thing and forgave her husband’s killer. How sincere she was, I’ll let you guess.
By contrast, always eager to calm things down and bring the public together (LOL) declared that “I hate my enemies.”
Trump is not only a RINO, he’s a CHRINO, a “Christian In Name Only.”

I like that line 🙂

Sunday School 9 months, 1 week agoHours spent on religious indoctrination (especially in schools that emphasize rote memorization of doctrine) are hours not spent on inquiry-based learning, STEM labs, or building critical reasoning skills. When students are trained to accept authority and revelation as the highest form of knowledge, they often carry weaker habits of skepticism,…[Read more]

Sunday School 9 months, 1 week agoI was a little surprised that Mississippi is the number one most religious state considering they are almost always towards the BOTTOM when it comes to things like education, (bad) violent crime (high) and overall wellbeing (very poor) you would think the Christians would have had their shit together (not lol)

Sunday School 9 months, 1 week agoYes, the fundamentalist position is where the religious should aspire to be. If one is ‘true believer’ then no reasoning is allowed in. NO point just being a “Sunday Christian”. Faith must become the totality of the brain process. Anything less is not acceptable to your peers.

Sunday School 9 months, 1 week agoAt some point in the past I remember thinking that religious fundamentalism was a byproduct of whatever religion someone followed. But it is not. It is the natural destination to arrive at if you stay the course of the indoctrination process. There are just degrees of how “mental” people become once they reach the destination point.
