Armin Navabi, who runs Atheist Republic, does a superb job of defending Israel, trashing the Mullahs of his homeland of Iran, as well as giving a balanced thrashing of Abrahamic, Vedic, and Oriental religions. Here’s his YouTube site, with links to the main Atheist Republic site and his other social…[Read more]

Gemini AI didn’t mention that there was no October 7th in Czechoslavak history after it broke up, and after they went their separate ways, neither the Czech Republic’s legitimacy nor Slavakia’s legitimacy was ever questioned, and no ethnicity was blamed for every evil in the world. And no one wanted to bring “The Seven Day War” to every…[Read more]

Of course the Jew-haters in our streets are sickening too! I’ve been on your side all alone here.
I’m just saying that Goat-Talk vs. God-Talk is the Greatest-Of-All-Time False Dilemma Fallacies. You’d expect this from Apologetics but not from rational thinkers. I’m sure J-Street-ers and AIPAC-ers would agree with me and say: “Get off…[Read more]

Ok so i am assuming you want a more detailed explanation of hearsay and exceptions to hearsay rule.
No, I was wondering what’s with the fixation with goat impregnation. This serves no end except as an ipicac.

Yeah Enco you are debating the allegations and avoiding whataboutism. Reminds me of law. HEARSAY! Hearsay as a general rule is not admissible. Objection, hearsay! The proponent counters with one of the exceptions to the rule like excited utterance. “Oh my fucking god that guy is naked in public and trying to make that goat pregant!” Ear…

The fallacy of composition is a logical fallacy that occurs when one incorrectly assumes that what is true for the parts of a whole must also be true for the whole itself. In other words, it’s the mistake of attributing a characteristic of individual members or parts to the entire group or system, without sufficient justification.
War, G…[Read more]

Perfectly explained. His followers are not smart enough or have enough experience of living independently to see behind the curtain, which is woven from a fake sense of profundity. He seldom answers a question directly and when he does, he employs terminology that sounds intellectual but is always either vague or overly complicated. I have…

I was very deliberate and careful in my wording of the post
No need to be careful with the phrasing of the post except maybe on YouTube or BlueSky or another site that’s gone beyond Woke to Weenie. Then the post may get “unalived.”

What’s it like to be an AI?
Again again, Bullwinkle? I’m detecting a pattern here.
Look, there was talk that AI could have been used to write RFKJR’s MAHA Report. Until AI becomes smart enough to resist being used by proudly delusional, oblivious jerks like RFKJR, I don’t want to know what it’s like to be an AI.

The role of migration and population dynamics in shaping human history does not necessitate a return to the flawed ideologies of the past.
Coincidentally, I was reading this Quillette article yesterday. I agree with what you say.
Proper study of ancient DNA (aDNA, as it’s called) does not mean revival of Gustav Kossinna’s Kultur-Gruppen…[Read more]

Why do you assume they all speak with one voice? I’ll stick with genocide for myself. It sure looks like Netanyahu and his ilk won’t be done until the last man, woman, child, and infant is pushing up daisies. Apartheid was more applicable before the genocide began.
The Anti-Israel protestors are alleging all three.
So, if Israel is gen…[Read more]

So what is it, War, Genocide, or Apartheid? Anti-Israel protesters keep moving the goalposts here.
And while Whataboutism is a Logical Fallacy, isn’t is also a Logical Faux Pas to have the soft bigotry of lowered expectations for Islamic and Third World peoples?
Again, October 7 happened on Netanyahu’s watch, so he’s not above scrutiny here.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson is in error about Economics not being a science, and in the larger body of the speech, he is in error on the origins of the numbers we use (they are Sanskrit, not Arabic.). But his basic position on contributions to science is correct.
In the larger speech he pointed out the religious reason why the Islamic world is…[Read more]

Unherd,
One, Ehud Olmert explicitly disagreed with Yair Golan’s claim that Israel casually killed babies.
Two, Ehud Olmert was there when Hamas took control of Gaza and knew where they stood and, like Netanyahu, let Israel become complacent. So Olmert’s past his prime too.
Three, Hamas still exists and can stop the war at anytime.

Unseen,
Hamas is the only one “killing babies as a pastime” both directly and as a consequence of locating tunnel and arsenals in the midst of civilians.
It’s a good thing Yair Golan is retired. He needs a place in the convalescent center next to Trump and Biden.

The Federal Government has been practicing charity since at least The New Deal. It was bound to bump uglies with religion sooner or later, yet no one spoke up.

Enco, how did that never occur to me? Go, go, go read Poe.
Didn’t occur to you? Surely you jest! (And no, I’m not calling you Shirley.😁)
Loved his short stories as a kid. And a few of his poems like the one with Anabelle Lee if memory serves and it is better than the drive-through.

I meant to use the name Poe, the author of “The Raven.”. I was imagining the words coming from a cynical, frazzled English Major student working in the drive-thru trying to hurry things along.
I would, however, use the term “Po” if I spoke Tagalog,
