Sunday School 1 year, 1 month agoSomeone once told me that they went there when it was raining quite heavily. I asked if people were rejoicing or starting to panic 🙂 To me it’s just an amusement park with only one ride…..and I have gotten years of amusement from it 🙂

Here is another post on the Christian cops at the Ark Encounter. I wonder if the K9’s showed up in pairs?I would so love it if a real flood hit that area and sank that stupid ark-shaped building and soaked all the stuffed dinosaurs.

Sunday School 1 year, 1 month agoYesterday I played a gig at a fish camp, primarily a large restaurant/bar in the swamp with many customers arriving by airboat. The stage is adjacent to the water, and we could see several large gators stalking around the reeds. Somebody remarked “look, is that RFK Jr swimming between those two gators?
Fact is, you are not even safe in a canoe…[Read more]

Sunday School 1 year, 1 month agoSocial Security is the kind of thing a caring society that fends for its frail individuals will do. Perhaps you are happy to have people using walkers working in stockrooms. How ’bout trying just a little bit not to be a nation full of greedy assholes?

Sunday School 1 year, 1 month agoHigh earners only pay Social Security on earnings up to a capped value and the rest of the income is not taxed for SS. Raising that cap alone could fix the coming shortfall. Instead, they will likely raise the retirement age and maybe even slash everyone’s check. When dear old grandmama has to move in with the family; smelling like Vick’s Vapor…[Read more]

Sunday School 1 year, 1 month agoDescent into madness or Trump’s America?
It is surreal. I think Bannon described it as a strategy in which there is literally an enfilade of shit from Trump that is so constant that we the people are inured to it and so it is normalized. The bar is so low you can’t see a bar. Think back not too distant to Watergate. Politicians on both sides put…[Read more]

Sunday School 1 year, 1 month agoWhen my brokerage portfolio first hit the $2M mark, it was like some sort of trigger. Sunday School 1 year, 1 month agoI wonder what survivors of 9/11 have to say about all this?
That was one of my first thoughts today when I heard the rambling speech he made. I also thought about what the family of the WaPo journalist Jamal Khashoggi must be thinking. Of course Trump would not mention that. He does not care about what happened him. Or maybe he really does…[Read more]
