“Oh no—you can’t know that at all!
No mortal mind can stand so tall.
You can’t just say ‘there are no gods,’
That’s arrogance in thinking clods.”
I sip my tea. “I never claimed
A truth so final, neatly framed.
I said I’m not convinced—so far—
No deity has raised the bar.”
“But wai…[Read more]

Sunday School 2 months, 1 week agoI just bought a book titled Poisoned Ivies. I know the antecedents and the influences of the lefty scum in their Jew hatred but i want to know the mechanics of how they’ve infected our universities and general zeitgeist. Hopefully this books gives some of that story.
Meanwhile imagine being this woman and waiting to be executed. And the…[Read more]

I’ve listened to most TWIV audio episodes since Covid hit in 2020. Most of it goes deep and is over my head, so I listen to help me fall asleep…[Read more]

Sunday School 2 months, 1 week agoI am wondering whether AI is progressing rapidly.
I asked it to critique Craig without using any of the arguments from Hitchens or Harris. Wowzers. Prefaced it with I want to know YOUR arguments. Of course i have no way to know if it is filched or original thinking.

I’ll take as a win, the fact that we agree about Musk.

Feature Mod Request: At the top of every page is a Forums drop-down menu. It works fine, listing forums in alphabetical order, but it truncates the listing at the “Politics Forum”. The remainder of the list, should include 21 (or more) forums.
AI says a setting for normally limits the list to 50 entries. Two of its suggested mods:

Science — the kind that requires evidence and reason. 2 months, 1 week agoMusk has blinders on like other groups he promotes on X who have trouble separating facts from conspiracy theories. I first realized this when he completely misunderstood and discounted how rapid Covid tests work, and what can cause false positives or negatives. He ranted against them, before many people learned how crucial they would become. Now…[Read more]

Hey if little girls can be raped and married off why can’t little boys be human fodder. They are awesome at protecting tanks by sweeping minefields.

Sunday School 2 months, 1 week agoEnco,
I wish Sam had done better against Craig. He outperformed Hitchens but i would have loved to have seen him debate my father. I am pretty sure he would have embarrassed Craig.
I hate to see guys like that sustained and credible in the eyes of academia. Same with the cant from the lefties. Debates could become features of the culture. Lets…[Read more]

Sunday School 2 months, 2 weeks agoChristian: Reg, do you know why do so many MAGA people wear a crucifix around their necks?
Me: It’s to let people know they are Christians because if we judged them on their words and deeds we would never know they are. They simply ignore James 2:14-26.
