Thanks, Reg 🙂

LOL si, de nada!

Hey Popey that was magnificent!  The only sad bit is where the video ends and I have to hit replay.

Thanks for sharing!

It’s a form of love, hero worship and a sense of belonging. It’s not a comparison of policies between candidates.  Trump built this with the MAGA movement.

This is why the sorts of things that might make them reconsider, are emotionally based. His crowd is too small. He’s losing his marbles. And finally, he’s boring. He has nothing new to say t…[Read more]

Thanks, Reg!

I do indeed ❤️

I’m not sure there’s anything in Islam encouraging nice manners, unless nice manners include burying women vertically in the sands of an arena with only their heads above ground, and stoning them to death for imagined apostasy – often accused by their husbands so he can get rid of them and snag a new wife.

Do yourself a favour and read ‘A Thous…[Read more]

@simon. Attilla the Hun had some people who succeeded as a result of his brutality.

Genghis Khan unified all the Mongolian tribes with his brutality.

Alexander III of Macedonia was a fiendishly cruel man who introduced elephants to the art of war. No doubt a few people were happy with this.

I’m not going to mention the German guy.

I lived (in sin, haha) with an electronic engineer in the early 80’s.

There are two memorable elements of this story

1. He had one contract building circuit boards that would used in a satellite by the Ministry of Defence in the UK. I had to sign the Official Secrets Act in case he talked in his sleep. Anyway there was a time p…[Read more]

@unseen Pi is like a long Chinese dragon. The three is a lead strong red. The 1 is white but then 4 green and 2 yellow. Effectively colours tailing off into the distance.

@Jake I like the weirdness.  I met someone who has sound synesthesia and listens to music whilst she watches colours dance.

It’s a fun oddity

I have colour synesthesia :).
Something like 40% of people have it in a small way.

If you’d like to check whether you are in that 40%, ask yourself “What colour is Wednesday?”

You will either have no idea what this question even means, or you will have a specific colour that comes to mind. The latter are those with at least a touch of colou…[Read more]

I guess that sounds childish, but sometimes, exasperated words fail me.

LOL, I’m laughing for real, because I must have spent ten minutes rewording my post because it sounded so childish! I wanted to make fun of those guys soooo badly.

There’s surely some kind of us-vs-them instinct that kicks in, especially when a cult-like…[Read more]

If Trump loses, maybe it’s because “the election was stolen”. And they have guns.

It’s only about 1-1/2 minutes long, where I jump into it.

(Hey buddy, stump rhymes with Trump!)

Thanks Reg!

Hmm, WSJ posted this on YT on July 13, before I started this thread. It’s 11-1/2 minutes long: Project 2025: The Radical Conservative Plan to Reshape America Under Trump
