Sunday School 3 years, 8 months agoA new Pew Report suggests that 45% of Americans say U.S. should be a ‘Christian Nation’.
Mike Pence says Americans don’t have a right to freedom from religion.
The Separation of Church and State Day falls one week before the mid-terms. I hope that in 2022 the nonreligious voters will be decisive enough to halt the Christian Kraken who deal in…[Read more]

The religious fervor of some of the Christians I have encountered recently – mostly born-again types would be worth doing a thesis on. It’s like they are constantly on the verge of some kind of spiritual orgasm. They just can’t relax enough to get there. Imagine faking your orgasms all the time, even when flying solo and still thinking they were…[Read more]

@Michael17 – The population at large can be bigoted and ignorant and fodder for Nazi indoctrination and Fascism.
Where do you think the fodder and bigotry came from in the first place? Anti-Semitism was born from the foulness of extreme Christianity. They nourished and fostered it for centuries in Europe. The Nazis just adopted it to suit their…[Read more]

@Johan, if your god exists on FB or in some Metaverse, I am happy for you. But I have no interest in your bus as all the wheels seem to have fallen off it. I wish you well in your marriage. You have failed to engage with us on any intellectual level and I have little or no understanding of what you are talking about. There is no need to quote t…[Read more]

I think I will keep the $20…………
Last year, David DePape posted links on his Facebook page to multiple videos produced by My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell falsely alleging that the 2020 election was stolen. Other posts included transphobic images and linked to websites claiming Covid vaccines were deadly. “The death rates being promoted are w…[Read more]

Yes, Michael and so many Christians add exceptions into the commandment to love their neighbors. But they will seldom rise to the standard of being nice bigots. As much as I try to educate them, most refuse to learn anything that might challenge their indoctrinated minds.

There we were Strega, at 2am walking disconsolate down the street and away from the 24 hour service station, when the guy from behind the counter ran out after us to say he had found some. We hurried back and bought ALL the Jaffa Cakes.

@Belle Rose – Do you think that God smokes weed? Do you think that Jesus got high?
I think he gave a Sermon on the Munchies once. Then he magically produced fresh oranges and chocolates and gave them out to all those wearing sandals. I have a distinct memory of that.
There is some documentary OBJECTIVE evidence to suggest that the disciples…[Read more]

“Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence”….
Yes, but some claims are clearly unworthy of anything other than being immediately dismissed from our thoughts. Skepticism is not required in this instance. We know miracles don’t happen.
The top Rabbinical authorities are only highly esteemed amongst themselves. It is a fallacy, an app…[Read more]

I have, on more than a few occasions, heard a Christian claim that the Jews are responsible for the death of Jesus.
I tell them that they should be ever grateful to the Jewish people for this. If they had not done so then Christians would not have been freed from their sins and would not have had the chance to be saved.
You should be forever…[Read more]

Once, when driving in central London, I began to make a left turn into a side street which I had forgotten had recently become one-way only. I reversed as I had hardly entered it and intended to take the next left. I was immediately stopped by a cop car with sirens blaring and blue lights on. There was no other traffic near me when I reversed so I…[Read more]

@Johan – You also seem to suggest you are one of the immortals too or I misreading what you seem to be saying?
But there is only One Reality, Brother.
My reality contains nothing of that you have spoken about. There are almost 8 billion realities. They are all subjective to each individual human. There are deductions made based upon our…[Read more]

@Johan, I have no idea what you mean by “first wife”. Who proposed to whom? Who are his other wives? I don’t know what you mean by a “living god”. It would be of no use if He were a dead one? What does His voice sound like when you are in communication? Is Hebrew or Aramaic your lingua franca when in conversation?
Can you also support any of…[Read more]

@Strega – I met some Rastafarians at the Notting Hill Carnival one year.
I used to frequent “The Elgin” on Ladbooke Grove, which is on the Notting Hill Carnival rout. I worked nearby and would often get lunch there. It was a real dopers bar back then. I got to know some Rastafarians (they were even on Tops of the Pops) as they insisted I poured…[Read more]
