Even so, I don’t hate men for their more violent nature… I mean, male (compared to female) violence isn’t even an arguable fact of life, is it? Does that sound like blatant sexism on my part, too?

I agree with that. But understand the big picture. Women in general select men on their potential to succeed in violence. Tall men, muscles, big shoulders, etc.. They find that attractive…firemen you know that whole bit. Woman always go for taller, stronger men. Goes back to prehistoric times. Nice flabby momma’s boys not so much.

So you fail to see the role women play and how they fail to take their responsibility. And when you hear a battered woman tell her story, you don’t really ever get to know the real story; the mental torture, manipulation, and provocation. Just a mean son of a bitch hitting an innocent woman? Bullshit….It is a simpleton’s position.

BTW, ask you male friends if they were ever pushed, slapped or had a shoe thrown at them. Many men show incredible restraint. You wont hear about that much either.

Simon, may I ask if your assessment on these new gender roles comes from you own successful relationship(s) or are you just spewing clichés? It seems to me that these social justice warriors are looking to achieve a genderless society. How that will work is beyond me. Men are already confused about approaching women and many of my buddies have given up. As for me, when I was single I put up a typical profile and just waited. Nothing. So then I decided WTF and put up the most obnoxious profile I could. ‘If I have time I may get back to you’..stuff like that. My inbox was full in one day. I did meet a wonderful woman, she just had to see what I was about… and we are going strong. She also happens to be an atheist. She is no feminist and resents that they think they represent womenkind.

As for woman’s shelters, sure you can go visit but if you want to see men battered you need to look out in the streets, under the overpasses. Guys that used to be married and have homes and fought in wars. I know , my father was a battle vet in Korea was one of them. Lost his mind. Where is the equality there?

It’s not that simple. As a manager in a major corporation, if a woman walks in my office and closes the door to talk in private, I’ll kindly ask her to please leave it open or else we have to go down to HR and gain a witness for my protection. I did not work this hard to be sunk by an allegation by a pissed-off worker. Sorry for the trouble.

If you believe that women are not capable of leveraging PC’ness power to unjustly take out competition you are wrong. I am always vigilant for that. So, yeah, she can make jokes, but I ain’t laughing.

I think he is correct on several topics but for the wrong reasons. I was kind of like that before I gave up my faith. It’s not like my social and political views all changed when I realized I didn’t believe. For many people their faith seems to dictate their political and social views on life. To me, belief was a separate thing.

This kid was rejected in front of the class by a girl he wanted to go with. He spared kids he liked. He wanted to send a message. I bet there are 1000’s of kids who probably show more ominous sign of losing it than this kid. His family is bewildered. No AR15 this time either. If the press doesn’t focus on it this time, maybe it’s a good thing. Could this be a media fueled fad?

The women in my life consistently manipulated me using a variety of tactics. I am very straightforward so I was always at a disadvantage when I was younger. Now I know what to look for and will call the behavior out. That actually helps the relationship once my partner knows I will not tolerate this BS….they become more straightforward. This whole “Your supposed to read my mind” is nonsense.  Some women learn to play their daddy and they often continue this childish crap into later life and it ends up being this symbiotic relationship with a pussy whipped guy that she eventually looses respect for. I have friends that are there. I can see why some men at some point just give up and find their own happiness instead of trying to please a “blackhole”.
