The US used a drone to kill an Iranian general. What might be the consequences?
One advantage of assassination by drone is that, as in Ukraine, the drone operator can be rather far away from the target, whereas a moderately good marksman with a suitable weapon has to be within a few hundred feet.

I’m not proposing a college-level course, but rather one that talks about the justification of one’s actions in terms of balancing benefits against consequences and the harm one does not just to society but to oneself through bad moral/ethical choices.

It’s come out that the shooter used a drone to check out the site of Trump’s rally, and then he used the intel he gathered to select a spot to do his “suicide by cop” mission* from.
Lately, I’ve seen some Youtube videos showing how effective the Ukrainian freedom fighters have been using drones to kill Russian soldiers and destroy Russian tanks,…[Read more]

(Oh, that’s right: We don’t trust anyone with studying philosophy before college: It’s dangerous.)

Aside from the inspect0r Lynley series, another nearly perfect series is Wire In The Blood (don’t ask me to explain the title). Here is the first episode of the first season, The Mermaids Singing. If the first two minutes or so don’t draw you in, then this series probably isn’t for you. One drawback for many people is that it’s from the early…[Read more]

While I don’t think any British detective series comes even close to Midsomer Murders for longevity, the Vera series is a long one with 11 seasons. I’ve watched the first four and can’t figure out what the appeal is. I didn’t expect it to be as dark/gruesome as it is. And I don’t hold that against it. After all, I absolutely loved Wire in the…[Read more]

Sunday School 1 year, 11 months agoI think that ex-astronaut, hero, faithful and devoted husband, and responsible gun owner Mark Kelly would probably wipe the floor with Trump.
That said, I can see why Kamala is the necessary choice this time around. Imagine the reaction of the nonwhite community if she was shunted aside in favor of another white guy yet again.
I don’t have money…[Read more]

Sunday School 1 year, 11 months agoThe human race has de-evolved so much since the COVID 19 plague that now I find myself uncaring about events. Just living day to day and avoiding “the news” and focus on family, health, art, music and happiness.

What is there to tell? The bullet went through the top of his ear.
Did you even read the article?
I don’t know but to me it looked totally staged. It hit the ear away from the audience (and camera) view as well so no one really saw it hit him. Just as he’s saying “hey everyone look at the chart over here….(and then he gets to tell eve…[Read more]

Is it just me? Or does it feel like the US is the victim of an abusive relationship currently being pulled back into the same abusive relationship with its malignant narcissist of an ex husband only to be beaten up and left for dead…..again.

By the time people figure out that it was/is a hoax planned and orchestrated by Trump himself, it will be too late. The dictator will have already taken over.
And he’s “immune.” Remember?
Adios the USA as we know it.

Look at the video…I mean really. Trump is like “Look at this chart over here….” Turns his head and grazes his ear. If it was a serious assassination attempt he would have used a better rifle.
