Sunday School 10 months, 4 weeks agoI think I have an over-inflated sense of my own abilities, but I don’t mind being knocked down and proved wrong.
I think most people think that their interpretation of reality is the correct one. As I said before, I don’t maintain any “core beliefs” about reality. I have various understandings about how the Universe operates and of my place in…[Read more]

Sunday School 10 months, 4 weeks agoAs bad as the starvation in Gaza is, more people are dying trying to get food than are starving. To make matters worse, as reported by an American soldier in a viddy I put up a few days ago, he’s witnessed IDF soldiers shoot into crowds of civilians committing the crime of trying to get food.

Sunday School 11 months agoTell you what: I won’t use Al Jazeera as a source if you won’t use Jerusalem Post.
How do you distinguish between people and sources like me who decry the actions of the Israeli government and people who simply hate Jews. It appears to me that, to you, there’s no difference.

The mathematics of famine are simple in Gaza. Palestinians cannot leave, war has ended farming and Israel has banned fishing, so practically every calorie its population eats must be brought in from outside.
Israel knows how much food is needed. It has been calibrating hunger in Gaza for decades, initially calculating shipments to exert…[Read more]

Simon and I can’t add a graphic to a post, and yet other AZ members can. Does anyone else have this problem?
With me, at least, I also cannot look at graphics that I’ve uploaded in the past… I get a wordpress error.-
I have no oversight to the coding or folder permissions but check to ensure the site’s wp-content/uploads/ folder is writable.-
So I learned (duh!) that I can’t log into that directory via ftp. However, just accidentally discovered I could use rtmedia access (already forgot how!) to upload a graphic successfully. However, I have a bigger, unrelated question now for all of us that I’ll start a new thread for…
