The most effective stand up meetings I ever attended were at the wine bar. You’d be amazed how much we would agree on.

The trick to getting through lengthy and painful meetings for me, is usually to grab the whiteboard markers, eschewing the usual black, blue  and red in favour of browns greens and even yellows.  As the lesser used coloured felt pens are usually fresher, you can get a good sniff of the solvent when you take the lid off them to draw on the whiteboard.

Seems you are categorizing ‘sheeple’ on the things they are using (iPhone, Facebook, reviews) rather than what they are using them for.  Basically, according to your argument, if you do something that many other people also do, you are in the ‘sheeple’ category.

You know, Noel, the Greeks have an old saying which, loosely translated, says that the first expression/face you see on any day will dictate your mood for the rest of that day.  The idea is that the first face you see in the morning is your own, in a mirror.  You set your own mood. It sounds like you’ve got that covered!

Hinduism is a religion.  I have some very close friends who are Hindi. You aren’t looking at the religious aspects of it though, are you?  You’re looking at the health aspects.  Ayurveda is basically a mind altering substance. Not dissimilar to Magic Mushrooms, or MDMA (E’s).

Yoga can be a state of mind, or a state of mind integrated with a state of body.  I don’t think it can qualify as a philosophy.
