Sunday School 3 weeks, 5 days ago@strega – that’s a fantastic story. The thing about pre-industrial people is their strong community ethos. It shows how good it is for us.

@strega – Interesting perspective. In the April 19th Sunday School thread, you responded to something I wrote and you said:
A religion is by definition a faith based construct, for which belief is required, not reason. [emphasis added]… I suppose Religion could be arational – that might fit.
I agree that human beings often act as irr… -

Sunday School 9 months, 1 week ago@Strega – I promise not to ever ask A.I. if Entropy can be reversed. 🙂
I have William Blake’s “Ancient of Days” tattooed on my back shoulder and the first stars were his daughters….which often reminds me of Multivac and “Let there be Light”………

I don’t think you have ever written anything that was not well reasoned and on point.

Sunday School 1 year ago@strega – isn’t there a difference between individuality, and individualism? Individualism can be a social situation, the opposite of communitarianism. People rely on themselves and a small circle of people, while in communal societies, people rely on the whole community. Community societies are “shame” cultures where the community governs th…[Read more]

@strega, I agree with you on ‘Fracture’. It has a clever plot with a decent twist to it. He is one of those actors you are compelled to focus on, whatever his role in any specific scene is, even when he is silent.Yeah, that was a good one. Kinda like a modern, upscale “Colombo” episode.

The Divine Comedy and Jesus: The Hidden Power of the Number 3
Dante Alighieri’s The Divine Comedy is infused with the number 3, and when analyzed numerologically, it reveals undeniable proof of Jesus Christ’s divine plan. Let’s break down this mystical pattern and show how Dante’s masterp…[Read more] -

Sunday School 1 year, 5 months ago@Strega – Too many people are afraid to live on their own for even a short period of time. I highly recommend it.
Maybe just don’t start writing a novel about what can happen to Jack when he spends too much time at work and not enough time playing. 🙂

Sunday School 1 year, 9 months ago@strega – that way lies madness. There are all kinds of things we could do recursively, but we don’t, because it’s too much effort. To Babs, 12 hours and 2 miles away was like standing on top of a hill and looking around over the countryside. Maybe the story was centred around me because I was there.
