American Atheists warns Mahmoud v. Taylor ruling undermines public education and pluralism.
As long as Unbelievers can opt out of compulsory reading of religious texts, I see no problem with Believers opting out of reading texts they may not like.
In fact, everyone who reads one thing automatically at that moment opts out of reading…[Read more]

No Doctor I have works in their practice 5 days a week. Probably from paperwork. Two of my past Doctors retired after Obamacare, both were very good in their reespective fields. Both were fairly young, too, so I suspect they didn’t want the burden of what would come next.
So this means I liked them, but didn’t get to keep them.

Which countries are successful at this kind of free market?
No nation yet has a fully free-market health care system of course, but the producers of the medical devices and medicines are all private enterprises, the builders of the facilities are all private enterprises, at least some medical universities are private enterprises, and…[Read more]

In fairness, Israel’s system has advantages over Iran’s, most especially with research and development.
It is also worthy of note that Arab Citizens have the same healthcare rights as Jewish Citizens, and Israeli medical establishments and organizations cater to all faiths and none. Israel accepts medical tourism from Palestinians and…[Read more]

And don’t forget how big kibbutzim were. Socialist project. Universal health care according to Wilf.
Here’s where she got out of her depth. Iran too has a heavily government-subsidized and government-regulated health care system, with very mixed results. Maybe better than some of their neighbors, but with all the same problems of s…[Read more]

How to Achieve Peace in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
It’s one year old, but still timely and timeless in it’s insights on scapegoating, Antisemitism, Anti-Zionism,…[Read more]

Think about it. The prisoners may be weak, emaciated, sleep deprived. Likely a shit load of guards ready to shoot em on the spot if they try to escape. So unless there was a coordinated action in which the escaping prisoners reconnoitered with some resistance forces then it would be suicide. Weapons alone would only lead to their demise i…

Not that Evin shouldn’t be razed, of course, just that the victims should first be out of harm’s way.
Bombing the entrance, then parachuting to the inmates widely scattered tools for escape and weapons for resistance would be most cromulent with this goal.
(I say “most cromulent” because there would still be some risk to the inmates, but…[Read more]

Glad that Iran’s nuclear weapons facilities have been at least partially destroyed. Glad also that this is giving tyrants of the world much pause.
Was disappointed that the Mullahs could still have more materials left. Also that Israel accidentally hit the prison for the Mullah regime’s political dissenters. I hope no…[Read more]

By the way, by making his announcement, Medvedev just conceded what all the “Intel” in the West and all the Wokesters and Useful Idiots are in denial over: that the Mullahs in Iran want nuclear weapons, whether self-produced or purchased.
So are you and Medvedev saying: “What Khamenei wants, Khamenei gets?”

Here are the only nations that have nuclear arms: United States, Russia, China, France, the United Kingdom, Pakistan, India, Israel, and North Korea.
The U.S., U.K., Israel, and India definitely wouldn’t give or sell them to Iran. None of the rest would give them to Iran but only sell them or exchange consideration for them. Shia Iran…[Read more]

LOL. Tulsi discoved that she wasn’t hired to tell thee truth but to agree with Trump no matter what he says.
Fortunately, no Intel is needed to know that when someone says multiple times, indeed as a chant, over 46 years that they want to kill you, and follows through multiple times with all manner of weapons, you believe them.

One good thing of all this is that the Mullahs who can’t be trusted with glow-in-the-dark paint have been deprived of access to the most destructive weapon man has ever created.

Of course, with Heidegger the Nazi, he could have just as easily, in a less verbose moment, came into Domino’s and sang the lyrics to Pink Floyd’s “In The Flesh.”. (Roger Waters could have also named that one “Art Imitating Life” the way he’s been going downhill, even before October 7th.)

Elica Le Bon is absolutely correct about where the fault lies.
The Mullah regime in Iran showed itself to U.S. citizens through the ABC World News Tonight newscast with Sam Donaldson making the nightly announcement that 52 Americans are held hostage in Tehran and it happened every night for 444 nights from 1979 to 1981.
